This weekend, Chiro Jess attended the ACA’s Connecting Kids Symposium — diving deep into the latest insights on supporting mums, bubs and growing families. 💛👶

She spent two days learning from expert speakers on:
✨ Supporting gut and immune health
✨ How to care for pelvic floor health in postnatal mothers
✨ Exercise and nutrition advice during late pregnancy and postpartum
✨ When and how to work closely with other health professionals like pelvic floor physios and nutritionists
✨ Newborn history and assessment

Our practitioners are always learning to ensure the care they provide is up-to-date, supportive, and tailored to every stage of family life.

Between homework, scrolling, and streaming, many young people are spending hours in postures that place strain on their bodies.

Here’s a quick checklist that’s perfect for everyone in the household:
✔️ Sit upright with feet flat on the floor
✔️ Hold devices at eye level
✔️ Limit the time on devices to 2 hours per day, especially during leisure time
✔️ Take regular breaks to move and stretch
✔️ Use both hands or alternate when texting or typing
✔️ Avoid using devices while slouched or lying down

It’s never too early (or too late!) to build better habits.

🌞 Meet Dr Renee Sathiaraj ~ Chiropractor!

Renee was first introduced to chiropractic as a child when she was treated by her uncle (who is also a chiropractor!) — this sparked her passion for the profession and set her on the path to helping others through holistic healthcare.

Renee enjoys treating people of all ages – from babies to the elderly – by taking care and personalising treatment according to their needs. She uses a combination of soft tissue massage, mobilisations, adjustments and rehabilitation exercises to support her patients in reaching their health goals.

🌿 Outside the clinic, Renee enjoys being out in nature, going for walks with her husband and fur baby, going to the gym, playing basketball and spending time with family and friends over a good meal!

Renee is available from next week:
Wednesday 8am – 1pm
Friday 7:30am – 11am

It's not just a sore neck…

When your head is tilted forward for long periods — like when scrolling on your phone or working on a laptop — it puts strain on the muscles, joints and nerves in your neck and upper back.
