Today, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and endurance that define the Anzac spirit.

We deeply honor all who have served our nation, especially those who returned with life-changing injuries and disabilities. The resilience shown by veterans throughout our history continues to inspire our community's work in supporting Tasmanians living with spinal cord injuries and physical disabilities.

The Anzac legacy reminds us that strength comes in many forms - in the willingness to face challenges, in supporting one another through difficult times, and in building a more inclusive society where everyone can participate fully.

To all veterans, their families, and those currently serving: we thank you for your service and sacrifice.

To our ParaQuad Association of Tasmania Inc. community: let us carry forward the values of courage, mateship, and perseverance that the Anzacs embodied, as we continue our mission of creating a more accessible and inclusive Tasmania for all.

Lest We Forget.

ParaQuad Tasmania was proud to have Katherine Reed present to 21 University of Tasmania Physiotherapy students yesterday.
Katherine shared her personal story and rehabilitation journey living with spinal cord injury.

Katherine also collaborated with UTAS physiotherapists and students on demonstrating wheelchair skills, providing a hands-on and meaningful learning experience.

A big thank you to Dr Divandari, the UTAS Physiotherapy team, and Katherine for their ongoing collaboration and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning opportunities — shaping the compassionate, informed physiotherapists of tomorrow.

Introducing Wheelchair Sports Tasmania!

Physical Disability Sports Tas (PDST) has been the flagship of our ParaQuad Programs for over a decade.
Recently we have joined an alliance with Wheelchair Sports Australia, a national body dedicated to the promotion and growth of wheelchair sports.

The alliance gives us access to promotion, marketing, equipment and training resources that we haven't had access to in the past.
As a result, we are transitioning the name of our program from Physical Disability Sports Tasmania to Wheelchair Sports Tasmania.
Our disability sports programs will remain the same, our rosters will remain the same and most importantly our amazing staff will remain the same.

Linked is our new page, like us to receive all the latest information on our sporting activities.
Our new website is coming soon!

Exciting times for physical disability sports in Tasmania!
