Do you have a project that could improve the welfare of Tasmanian racing animals?

Applications are now open for the Racing Animal Welfare Grants Program 2026–27, with $100,000 available to support initiatives that deliver positive welfare outcomes during and after racing careers.

Funding is available across three key areas:

• Animal Health Research
• Facilities and Equipment
• Initiatives to Enhance Animal Welfare

Eligible Tasmanian not-for-profit organisations, charities, businesses and sole traders are encouraged to apply.

Applications close 9 May 2026, with successful applicants announced 4 June 2026.
