Break down of what some releases could mean during your horses pulse session: ⤵️

Yawning during PEMF:
• Indicates the parasympathetic nervous system is activating
• Common when PEMF is working through the neck, poll, jaw or spine
• Shows mental and physical tension is letting go

Farting / gut sounds:
• PEMF stimulates circulation to organs
• The digestive system “wakes back up” once stress drops
• A sign of full-body relaxation

Blowing, snorting, snot release:
• Release of sinus, chest or emotional tension
• Increased circulation can thin mucus and allow it to drain
• Often follows deeper breaths or a big sigh

Jaw stretching, licking, chewing:
• Release through the TMJ and cranial nerves.
• Indicates acceptance, relaxation and processing
• Very common when PEMF is run over the head, neck or withers

Stretching, dropping the head, soft eyes:
• Muscles letting go of chronic holding patterns
• Fascia responding to improved circulation
• A sign the horse feels safe and settled

Is your body holding your horse back? 🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️

As riders, we spend so much time checking our horses for soreness…
But how often do we check ourselves? 🤔

If your body is tight, sore, uneven or fatigued, your horse will feel it instantly. Horses are masters at compensating, so when we’re not moving freely, they start adjusting their own body to match us.

This can lead to:
• Uneven contact
• One-sidedness
• Poor transitions
• Resistance or tension
• Back, shoulder or hind-end soreness
• A drop in performance or softness

Your horse mirrors your balance, posture and energy.
A stiff hip, tight lower back, sore shoulders or weak core in the rider can create imbalance through the whole horse. Even something as simple as favouring one stirrup can change how your horse carries themselves.

Why Regular Movement is Vital for Your Horse’s Joint Health 🐎✨

Just like people, horses benefit greatly from regular movement. One of the key reasons is the production and circulation of synovial fluid, the natural “lubricant” inside your horse’s joints.

🔹 What is synovial fluid?
It’s a thick, slippery liquid found within the joints that cushions the cartilage, reduces friction, and allows smooth, pain-free movement.

🔹 Why is movement important?
Unlike blood, synovial fluid doesn’t have vessels to carry it around. Instead, it’s pumped into the joint space when your horse moves. Each stride acts like a pump, refreshing the joint with nutrients and removing waste products.
