🦴 Bone Bus is coming to Glenorie Village Medical Practice – April 22nd 🦴

We’re pleased to let our community know that the Bone Bus will be visiting our practice on Tuesday, 22nd April.

This service provides bone density (DEXA) scans, which are important for assessing bone health and the risk of osteoporosis.

Who is eligible?
✔️ Patients aged 70 years and over
✔️ Patients with certain medical conditions or risk factors (speak with your GP if unsure)

📲 Bookings are essential – simply scan the QR code attached to secure your appointment.

Early detection is key to maintaining strong, healthy bones. If you think you may be eligible, we encourage you to book in.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about a condition that affects 1 in 9 Australian women.
Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing inflammation, pain, and sometimes fertility challenges. It is a chronic condition but with the right support and management, symptoms can be improved.
