✨ MEET THE MINDS BEHIND KINETIC ✨
Meet our co-founders, John and Lizzie!

Kinetic Medicine began with a bold vision: to make high-quality therapy and healthcare accessible to all, no matter where they live, because we believe in the power of care to transform communities.

What started as a solo EP practice with John juggling clients and a young family has grown and grown. Ever the creative mind behind the scenes, after their littlies started school, Lizzie became the driving force behind our unwavering commitment to consistent, high-quality care. Her creativity and heart have shaped the Kinetic brand into the warm and welcoming place it is today.

Together, John and Lizzie have weathered the many challenges of building an allied health practice in regional Australia. From staffing hurdles, to more than a few natural disasters, plus the complexities of rural healthcare delivery, it’s been a true family effort. And now, as we celebrate 10 years of Kinetic Medicine, we’re proud to have mentored over 25 clinicians and supported the growth of more than 100 students.

John’s journey as an Exercise Physiologist has taken him across public and private sectors, but his passion has always been clear: to help those who others may have given up on. That’s why he’s worked in every Kinetic clinic - from Taree, Gloucester, Forster and Wingham, to Salamander Bay, Stroud, Albury, Corowa, Wagga, Griffith and Narrandera. On any given week, you never know where he’ll pop up!

If you’re looking for therapy that keeps evolving, that never gives up, and that always finds a reason to hope—just look for the KM sign.

Feeling stuck in your ankle rehab? šŸ‘Ÿ

Sometimes recovery stalls.

The same exercises, the same results, and no clear way forward.

That’s where we step in.

At Kinetic Medicine, ankle rehab isn’t just about ticking off a set of movements. Our team is known for thinking outside the box, bringing fresh strategies, new perspectives, and innovative tools to help you get moving again.

Whether it’s rebuilding strength after a sprain, regaining mobility post-surgery, or tackling those stubborn niggles that just won’t shift, we specialise in unlocking progress when it feels like you’ve hit a wall.

šŸ‘‰ If your ankle rehab feels stuck, it doesn’t have to stay that way. Let’s get you back to walking, running, or simply moving with confidence again.

Sometimes the hardest step isn’t the first one, it’s the next one.

After a stroke, life can feel different in ways big and small. After all of the acute care transitions to the long road ahead, it can be hard to find that motivation and support to keep making gains.

Moving forward isn’t about just ā€œdealing with itā€, it’s about continuing to build strength, confidence, and independence for the life ahead of you. With the right support, every step forward matters: from relearning daily tasks, to improving balance and movement, to finding joy in activities again.

Our team is here to walk that path with you, helping you discover what’s possible and celebrate progress along the way.

Because recovery isn’t about standing still, it’s about taking the next steps forward, one at a time.

šŸ‘‰ Ready to explore what’s next for you or someone you care about?

With expert guidance and a personalised approach, we support you to reconnect with your body so you can move through life with more comfort, energy, and ease.

šŸ’ ā€œIs this really doing anything?ā€

That’s a question we hear often from people starting exercise during or after cancer treatment.

When you’re holding a light weight, sitting in a chair, it can feel too small to matter.

But here’s the truth: intensity is always relative.

What feels light to one person can be exactly the right challenge for another—especially when treatment has changed energy levels, strength, or mobility.

The key is finding the right intensity for you.

🌟 Even small, consistent efforts can:
• Lower cancer-related fatigue
• Improve muscle and bone health
• Support immune function
• Lift mood and confidence

It’s not about doing ā€œmoreā€ or ā€œharder.ā€ It’s about doing what’s safe, sustainable, and meaningful for your health right now. And with the right guidance, those ā€œlittle thingsā€ add up to big change.

🟠 Get Better. Stay Better. Live Better.

šŸ’” Small device, big difference for cerebral palsy

This little device is a single-joint exoskeleton, and at our Albury clinic it has the power to helping people with conditions like cerebral palsy move in ways that were once thought impossible.

By reading signals from the brain to the muscles, this lightweight device assists movement at a single joint - like the knee or ankle - making everyday activities safer, stronger, and more independent.

With the guidance of our clinicians, it’s not just technology, it’s a pathway to greater confidence, mobility, and freedom.

Most people think rehab after stroke has an expiry date.

That after a few months, progress slows and options run out.

🚫 That’s the old story.
āœ… The new story is ExoMove.

With advanced robotic exoskeletons, our clinicians can deliver intensive, targeted training that reignites the nervous system and helps people achieve mobility goals years after stroke.

At our šŸ“ Albury ExoMove clinic, we use advanced robotic exoskeletons that can actually read the faint electrical signals from your brain to your muscles — even when the movement itself is too weak to see.

šŸ§ āž”ļøšŸ’Ŗ When those signals are detected, the device supports your body to move, retraining your nervous system in real time.

This means your effort drives the movement — helping to re-wire brain-to-muscle pathways and open up the possibility of recovery long after the stroke itself.

šŸ‘ No matter where you are in your journey, it’s not too late to take the next step.

🄁 Finding rhythm in movement with Parkinson’s therapy

For people living with Parkinson’s, walking isn’t always straightforward.

Steps can freeze
Stride can shorten
Confidence can fade

That’s where cueing comes in.

Using rhythm, sound, or visual prompts, we can help unlock smoother, steadier walking patterns and restore a sense of flow.

But here’s the truth: no two people with Parkinson’s move in exactly the same way.

That’s why effective therapy isn’t just about following a formula—it’s about creativity. The best clinicians know how to think on their feet šŸ˜‰, tailoring cues and strategies in real time to help each person find what works for them.

Whether it’s a beat of music, a line on the floor, or a clever change in task, creativity turns evidence into everyday wins.

That’s the kind of care that helps people get better, stay better, and live better.

Shoulder rehab isn’t just about exercise, it's about:

šŸ’„ learning more about yourself and your body
šŸ’„ it's about building your body's resilience
šŸ’„ it's about having a healthcare team that doesn't just see you as a body part or a diagnosis, but as a whole person who wants to get life back on their terms

Ultimately, it’s about the little wins that make life feel good again šŸ’Ŗ

Getting the know how to help you really make those meaningful gains means

šŸ‘‰ Finally being able to scratch that itch behind your back without wincing
šŸ‘‰ Reaching the top shelf without that sharp sting of pain
šŸ‘‰ Lifting, carrying, moving freely — without fear holding you back

We show people how they can trust their body again and slowly build their way back to what matters most.

Those simple, everyday movements are what shoulder mobility is all about. With the right rehab, the freedom you thought you’d lost can return — and it feels so good.

Helping people get back to their best, one shoulder at a time, is what it's all about because moving well means living well.

Everything's better when we do it together!

There’s something powerful about working on your health alongside others. Group therapy isn’t just cost-effective—it’s motivating, supportive, and proven to help people stick with their rehab for better results.

Across our regional communities, that value goes even further. Group programs bring people together who understand what it’s like to face the same challenges. You’re not just exercising—you’re sharing stories, building connections, learning more about what makes a difference, and finding encouragement when it matters most.

At Kinetic Medicine, we run a wide range of group therapy programs tailored to different needs, including:
āœ… GLA:D for hip and knee osteoarthritis
āœ… Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab for heart and lung health
āœ… Cancer Care to rebuild strength during and after treatment
āœ… And more specialised programs designed for regional clients

Whether it’s about regaining movement, rebuilding confidence, or simply not having to face recovery alone—our groups are here to help you get better, stay better, and live better.
