Restart a Heart Day is a global initiative of the European Resuscitation Council, co-ordinated in Australia and New Zealand by the Council of Ambulance Authorities to raise awareness and educate the community about CPR and AEDs in the community.

Time counts in the event of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. For every minute that passes without intervention, the chance of survival decreases by 10%.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Shout-out to this incredible local business Heed Health Care 🚑 and Heed Health Education 🙌

I met with Kristy and Monica today to hear more about the work they are doing to help our health crisis.

Their mission is to make healthcare more accessible.

They provide first aid and medical services for:
👉 community events
👉 sporting events
👉 concerts and music festivals
👉 school sporting events

Their education arm delivers nationally recognised qualifications in Emergency Health Care.

AND as if all that wasn’t impressive enough, they have capacity to help our hospitals by providing transfers and non-emergency patient transport services.👏

Heed Health Care wishes everyone a safe and Happy New Year!!
