Because let’s face it, we all want the same thing 🤷‍♀️ Cake. And Jason also wants “Beer” - Ginger Beer that is 😂

Kia ora Kia ora! I’m Nikki and this is my son Jason and we’re The Dis-Influencers. Short for… Disability Influencers 😂

As many of you may, but some may not, know… my son Jason is severely intellectually and physically disabled. Amongst other things like live music and long car rides, he loves going out into the community and socialising, eating out, catching up with friends and family - pretty much the same things we all like doing! On our travels, we have found some exceptionally disabled friendly venues, restaurants and hotels, as well as disability friendly activities.

So… I decided we would go on a “discovery trail” and we would highlight venues that were Disability friendly. Of course, in our travels we will probably find some venues that aren’t so DF. But that’s ok - my aim isn’t to shame. My aim is to help other people in similar circumstances who would’ve liked the guesswork taken out, and save them the bother 👍 Also… we just really like eating out and the idea was born 😂

So we will look at different factors like if it has DF carpark available, DF toilets, lifts/ramps/flat access, spacing between tables and basically if the vibe is right 😀

So at the moment, we’re covering the Central Coast of NSW but we will also include other areas as we travel to them. We will throw up reviews by way of Reels so if you see one, please comment, like and share to support.
