Wanna know a secret 🤫

Your coach, favourite fitfluencer and friend who lost 10kg didn’t know what they were doing when they started.

One of the biggest excuses I hear is “I don’t know what to do”

Nor did I.

I spent months/ years learning about food, learning how to track, making mistakes, getting creative with recipes, falling short on goals, having bad weeks, trialing different methods just to understand what my body needed and how I could support it.

I didn’t just decide one day to be fit and it happened.

I tracked , got frustrated at the time it took and I tracked wrong, but over time I became faster and better at this.

I learnt about nutrition labels and what to look it for, I learnt about ingredients just by eating new foods .

I spent the time failing, ruining recipes and having to play macro Tetris to understand how to build recipes that allow me to eat the foods i wanted in healthier ways.

You’re not going to fail because you don’t know what to do or because it’s new.

You will fail because you fear taking the step forward and challenging your old habits and poor knowledge.

We’re back on the mats 🥋

I managed to train up to 36 weeks and coach up till 40 weeks pregnant 🤰

4 weeks PP and we’re back into it !
Not 100%, not like I used to but we’re moving.

Learning to find my centre of gravity, learning to just move with the motions. No strenuous workouts or pushing myself to the max.

Some days controlling portions is going to be the best you can do when you’re still fighting for balance.

Focusing on calories in vs out will still get you results ! Whilst yes there are benefits to specific macros and lifestyle habits however that isn’t always possible.

One of the biggest game changers for appetite regulation isn’t restriction its pairing.

When you combine nutrient dense foods (think protein, fibre, healthy fats, vitamins & minerals) with more flexible or fun foods (your favorite bread, chocolate, cheese, etc.), you get the best of both worlds:

🍽️ Balanced satiety : protein & fibre help regulate hunger cues.
🍫 Satisfaction : allowing enjoyable foods prevents the “all or nothing” cycle.
