Society where we used to instant gratification and results, remember you’ve spent 30 years building these s**t habits, you’re not going to rewrite them in 3 months .

Here’s what I do as the first time Mum 10 weeks postpartum trying to feel a little bit more like I used to 🤰

🍔 eat balanced meals with no exclusions
🍓 keep my fruit intake super high
🥤 ensure I’m eating plenty of protein
🚶🏽‍♀️ daily walks even if they’re small
🥋 train 1 - 4 times a week
🕰️ checking in with myself frequently

What I’m still working on !
💧 being more consistent with my hydration
🍱 improving my meal prep consistency/frequency
🏋️‍♂️ weight training at least 2 to 3 times a week
🥒 adding more vegetable variety
📊 tracking my food more consistently

As you can see, I’m doing some things but not all things, it’s not about perfection but instead being consistent and working on improving basic fundamental habits.

My goal was never to create restriction or lose weight quickly, it was to build fundamental habits and improve the overall quality of life.

I started being more mindful 4 weeks ago at 67.8kg and I’m currently sitting at 65.9kg just from making small daily changes.

Have I been perfect ? No
Have I been mindful ? Yes

Perfection doesn’t even align with my journey however consistency does.
I don’t buy extra treats at the grocery store store, I stick to the outside of the shops.

I’ve been more mindful of my steps and my sleep

I’m making attempts to increase my fluid

My goal wasn’t essentially fat loss but improving the quality of my food 🍲
Fruit 🍇
Vegetables 🌽
Protein 🍗
Wholegrains 🥣

No fancy s**t, just the basic fundamentals
Im evidence it works without over complicating it

Some people thrive lifting heavy. Others find flow in martial arts, running, yoga, or even long hikes. The “best” training isn’t the one the internet says you should do it’s the one that fits your body, your goals, and your lifestyle.

Proving that simple is effective 💪🏼

400 calories 33g protein 12g Fibre

🥔 potato
🐮 beef mince
🔥 spice packet
🥒 frozen mixed veggies

10 minutes to prep and I’m done for 4 days.
It doesn’t matter how tired or stressed I am. There’s food within reach that’s nourishing.
