GC Mediations

GC Mediations Parenting Coordination & Child Focused Mediation. Positive impacts resulting in greater outcomes & constructive experiences. What is GC Mediations?

We are a boutique, child focused mediation or family dispute resolution mediation centre. Cassidy has also done study and training to become a qualified Divorce Coach. Cassidy is fully qualified and accredited with Australian Attorney-General's office. She is a passionate FDRP

An FDR Practitioner, or FDRP, is the neutral person who facilitates the mediation process. When a family disagrees about arrangements for children after separation, an FDR practitioner is a good person to ask for help. An FDR practitioner is an independent person trained in mediation and negotiation and specialising in family disputes. They are neutral and don’t take sides with any of the people involved in the mediation. They will facilitate the process by encouraging people to talk about the particular issues in dispute. They are trained in working in a family law environment and in responding to domestic and family violence. They are also trained in creating a supportive environment, particularly for the safety of vulnerable people. They should provide a safe environment to allow people to openly discuss and clarify issues as well as allow them to feel safe to disagree. An FDR practitioner is accredited under the standards set out in the Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners) Regulations 2008.

Separation and co-parenting can stir up shame, regret, or self-doubt — but your past doesn’t define you. Healing begins when you stop hiding your story and start embracing it with compassion.

Owning your journey isn’t about perfection, it’s about courage. It’s about saying, “This is me, and I’m still worthy of love, respect, and peace.” That kind of bravery changes everything — for you, and for your children. 💛

If you’re ready to step into your story with strength and support, I’d be honoured to walk that path with you.

One of the hardest lessons in co-parenting is learning to release the version of someone you wish they could be — and meeting them as they are, today.

Respect doesn’t mean agreement. It means recognising reality, letting go of constant battles to “change” the other person, and choosing peace over control.

When you stop forcing someone into who you want them to be, you create space to step into who you want to be. And that shift? That’s where freedom and healthier parenting begins. 🌱

If you’re ready to move from frustration into calmer ground, I can help you take those steps with clarity and support.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, reactive, or like you're not "doing this well enough" — pause. You’re not broken, and you’re not failing. You’re human.

Separation can push every emotional button you have. And your responses aren’t weakness — they’re survival strategies shaped by your story.

Healing and calm don’t come from shame or pressure — they begin when you extend yourself the same compassion you’d offer your child. You’re doing the best you can with what you’ve lived through.

That’s not failure. That’s resilience in motion. 💛

When you're co-parenting or navigating separation, it can feel easier to bury your anger, grief, or fear just to keep the peace. But emotions don’t disappear when ignored — they wait. They surface later, often sharper, often at the worst time, and sometimes through our kids.

Naming your feelings isn’t weakness. It's a powerful act of protection — for you, and for the emotional climate your children grow up in.

You don’t have to process it all alone. There is space for your truth. There is support for your healing.

If your emotions are building and you’re not sure where to start, I offer a calm, non-judgmental space to explore what’s under the surface.
