Wake me up before you go go🕺🏻🕺🏻��Who doesn’t want WHAM energy in the morning?!! Well before you get there, you have to complete some regular functional movements that you may or may not take for granted.

The first is getting out of bed…��This is a movement I’ve never had an issue with, until I had my baby girl and I had 5 fingers of abdominal separation and no core and no stability. I had to roll onto the floor and use my arms to push up, and then continue to stand up… not ideal and very humbling.

So there needs to be a certain level of core strength to get us from a lying position to a sitting position and even though you may roll to the side and the everyday movement won’t necessarily “look like” a Pilates Roll Up - this is the exercise that is sooo incredibly important and functional helping us not only gain abdominal strength, but move and mobilise the spine and create pelvic and hip stability — all vital for continuing to get out of bed with ease for the rest of your life. What you do and how you feel once you’re up is of course up to you **insert Good Movement Club😉😉

If you’ve done a Pilates mat class before and never been able to nail the roll up, the assistance of the Flow Reformer will get you there.
