Unfortunately one of our passengers on our "ADVENTURES 2 FIT New Zealand Tour" has had a family medical emergency and is unable to make the trip.

First time back to Goondiwindi for Peter and I since we drove through on our move from Gunnedah to the Gold Coast 29 years ago back in 1997.
This time it was for The Hell of the West Triathlon. The fun and the freedom to just have a go....the celebrations down the finish chute, the courage to just step out of your comfort zone or the aim to produce a faster result!
2km swim, 80km ride, 20km run on Sunday together with a Hells kids event and a firestarter over two fantastic days.
I was especially inspired by those who took on the 80km cycle, many of whom I could see had never cycled much at all, let alone that far! Watching and witnessing the camaraderie out on course, the smiles, the looks of grit and determination to reach the end....that is sport ππͺ
Congrats to everyone who took part over the weekend....kids, adults and parents of our A Body 2 Fit Triathlon Squad, the amazing locals and every competitor who came from far and wide π
It was so great to see everyone, no matter what their ability, encouraged and supported in their participation...no matter whether it was their first, 5th or 40th triathlon.
Most of all....a huge thanks to all our amazing support crew...the ones who both race and cheer, the ones who carry the gear or yell words of "let's go!" The sport could not exist without you β A huge thanks to the locals we met in the pubs afterwards that we had never spoken to before, the ones who pulled us aside, noted our efforts, watched us on course and thanked us for coming out west. I'm always on for a laugh and a chat with people we don't know π€£ and the country does it best....this is probably the part that this girl from the bush misses most π―
Lastly, congrats to the Hell of the West Weekend - Goondiwindi for showing that the good 'ole triathlon days still exist and that respect for beginners, and advanced is always a priority in nurturing our great sport

Super Saturday out at Hell of the West today.
So extremely proud of Indie completing her very first triathlon, Cooper smashing out a top 5 result overall, Zach heating it up with his next race tomorrow and Jodie all smiles as she ripped through her 2nd event this year. ππ
Thank you to for creating such an amazing atmosphere and a fun race for everyone.
Our crew had an absolute blast today and look forward to the big one tomorrow π₯π₯π₯π₯

A BODY 2 FIT Triathlon Club
The A BODY 2 FIT Triathlon Club promotes a healthy and active lifestyle to both Junior and Adult participants via the sport of Triathlon β swimming, cycling and running.
Our aim is to provide the community with a family orientated, friendly and professional environment and training program whereby all individuals, despite their age or ability, can come together to achieve a positive and rewarding outcome.
Since the first junior training session back in 2010 this training squad has grown immensely as has the enthusiasm and interest from many families within the community. The incorporation of the club in July 2015 has proven to be an extremely positive decision. The club now offers a professional, fun and effective training program to the Gold Coast community via a more diverse training program structured specifically to the participants age and ability.
The Junior training program and schedule is specifically structured with the members needs being fully catered via various swimming, cycling and running sessions. The Junior training program is available from Monday through to Thursday. All training sessions are held within the Miami and Robina areas with age groups ranging from 4 β 18 years.
Adult sessions are also available on various days Monday through to Friday. All training sessions are focused on fun, enjoyment, and overall participation.
The A BODY 2 FIT Triathlon Club prides itself on itβs sense of team belonging and camaraderie. Safety, professionalism and a friendly training environment is always our main concern for all members.
