Let’s be real… no one prepares you for the actual laparoscopy recovery.

Not the gas pain.
Not the bloating.
Not the emotional rollercoaster.

And definitely not how tired you’ll feel from doing… basically nothing.

If you’re heading into surgery, I hope this helps you feel a little more prepared (and a lot less alone 💛)

And if you’ve already been through it…
you already know — this list is VERY real 😅

Living with endometriosis can come with more than just pain.
Many people also experience brain fog, fatigue and low energy, especially during flare days.

While food isn’t a cure, certain nutrients can help support brain function, stabilise energy and reduce inflammation.

Here are 7 foods that may help with endometriosis brain fog and fatigue:

🥬 Leafy greens – iron & magnesium support
🐟 Fatty fish – omega-3s help reduce inflammation
🫐 Berries – antioxidants for brain health
🥜 Nuts & seeds – healthy fats for sustained energy
🌾 Wholegrains – stabilise blood sugar
💧 Hydration & electrolytes – improve focus
🫚 Turmeric & ginger – anti-inflammatory support

Small daily choices can sometimes make flare days a little more manageable.

Living with endometriosis often means learning to trust your body in a world that sometimes questions it.

Many people with endo spend years being told their pain is “normal” or “just part of being a woman.” But your body is always communicating with you.

If something feels wrong, it deserves to be heard.

Trust yourself. Advocate for yourself. Your experience matters.

💛 If you’ve ever had to fight to be taken seriously about your health, you’re not alone.

Some days with endometriosis feel heavier than others.

The pain.
The exhaustion.
The frustration of living with something so many people still don’t understand.

There are days when your body feels like it’s fighting a battle you didn’t choose.

Days when simply getting out of bed, showing up for work, caring for your family, or even just making it through the day takes every ounce of strength you have.

And yet… here you are.

Still going.
Still showing up.
Still fighting.

Endometriosis is an invisible illness, but the strength it takes to live with it every day is very real.

So if today feels hard, please remember this:

You are stronger than you feel today.
Even on the days you feel like you’re barely holding it together.

Your strength is in the small things.
The quiet resilience.
The courage to keep going.

What an endometriosis flare can actually feel like:

• Debilitating pelvic pain that stops you in your tracks
• Crushing fatigue that sleep doesn’t fix
• Burning inflammation and pressure in the pelvis
• Severe bloating and nausea
• The emotional weight of living with chronic pain

And one of the biggest myths?
“You can’t have endometriosis if scans are normal.”

The truth is endometriosis often doesn’t appear on scans. Many people suffer for years before diagnosis.

If this feels familiar — you’re not weak, dramatic, or exaggerating.
Your pain is real. And you deserve support, answers, and proper care.

💛 Save this to remind yourself you’re not alone.
💛 Share to help someone feel seen today.
