Spent last Sunday with friends & my little brother playing some lawn bowls. We laughed way too much and maybe got a bit competitive 🤭

It reminded me that movement doesn’t always have to be a workout in the gym. It can be as simple as getting outside, trying something new, and having fun with the people you love. 💛

Want more energy in your day? Move your body! 💪

Exercise is one of the best natural energy boosters. Whether it’s strength training, a brisk walk, or a calming yoga session, movement increases blood flow, improves mood, and helps you feel more energised (not drained!).

👉 Aim for at least 20–30 minutes of activity most days, and you’ll notice the difference in your energy and focus.

Balance isn’t just about standing still. It’s about moving through life with confidence.

As we transition through peri/menopause, hormone changes can affect our strength, coordination, and even stability. That’s why adding balance drills into your routine is so powerful.

This week’s drill: Single-Leg Balance with Eyes Closed 🦵👀🚫

💪 Benefits:
• Builds ankle, knee & hip stability
• Strengthens your core & postural muscles
• Improves proprioception (your body’s awareness in space)
• Keeps joints healthy with small stabilising movements
• Boosts focus & mindfulness, you can’t “zone out” during this one
• Challenges your brain and nervous system, keeping them sharp

👉 Try it: Stand tall on one leg, close your eyes, and see how long you can hold. Start with 10–20 seconds each side, and use a wall or chair for support if needed.

These little drills may seem simple, but they create strong foundations for everyday movement. So you can walk, train, and live with confidence. 🌸💪

This weekend we celebrated such a special milestone – my little man’s 21st🥰 🎉💙

We ventured in to the city. Started off at Greasers. Then some fun with fluro drinks at Viscosity 🍹✨ The night ended with a train ride home 🚆

My goodness it reminded me I am definitely not 21 anymore.

How did we do that night after night??🤪😵‍💫😴🤣

A night full of laughs, love, and memories we’ll never forget. So proud of the amazing young man you’ve become 💛
