Movement Monday š
Do you ever feel like you fold forward when you squat?
This is really common.
One of the cues I often give clients is:
āSit into your hips.ā
Instead of dropping straight down or leaning forward, think about sitting your hips back and down. Almost like youāre lowering into a chair.
This helps:
⢠engage the hips
⢠keep the chest more upright
⢠create a stronger, more stable squat
Small cues like this can make a big difference to how a movement feels.
These are the kinds of small technique tweaks we often work on during strength sessions at MelonXfitness.
