🥑 A TASTY WAY TO BOOST YOUR GUT HEALTH 🥑

I had a heap of Avocados that were nearing the end of their life (IYKYK), so I decided to make a batch of guacamole so I could use them all quickly.

The reason this recipe is gut loving is with the addition of Kefir!

What is Kefir, you may ask? ➡️ Kefir is made by fermenting milk with kefir grains, which are made up of several fungal and bacterial species. It's a good source of protein, calcium, potassium, and phosphorous.

Kefir grains contain up to 61 strains of bacteria and yeasts, making them a very rich and diverse probiotic source, more potent than yoghurt. They help build beneficial bacteria numbers in your gut, which research shows can help with bloating and other digestive issues.

You can get Kefir in non-dairy forms if that isn't your jam, and I also like to add a splash into my yoghurt to give it a bacteria boost.

We added a scoop to our dinner, but you can enjoy it on toast, with your breakfast or as a side with any meal. You also reap the benefits of nourishing fats, fibre, and nutrients from the avocado too!

Simply mash up your avos, add some Kefir for creaminess, and then add in any extras you normally would. You can add lime juice, red onion, chopped tomato.. the possibilities are endless.

Give it a try, your body will thank you!

Finally sharing my explant story....

I got my first set of implants in 2012. I wanted my breasts to match my athletic frame. In 2021, I got an ultrasound out of curiosity, and it showed I had a rupture. Leading up to that, I don't think I experienced any symptoms. I live a healthy, active lifestyle, which I think supported my body even though I had implants that look back, would have been negatively affecting my health in some way.

I was 50/50 about getting a replacement set but decided to go through with it and get a new set. After the surgery I started to notice my body wasn't the same.

The symptoms I was having around that time were
- Extreme Fatigue (I would need to nap at 11 am nearly every day)
- Food sensitivities
- Bloating and Constipation
- Hair Loss

I chalked this up to the extreme stress I had during Covid and kept pushing forward, trying to resolve these issues. I tried FODMAPS/ elimination diets, got numerous blood tests, went to a dermatologist, tried to reduce my stress, but nothing seemed to work, and no doctors were able to tell me what was going on.

It wasn't until a friend encouraged me to look into Breast Implant Illnessthat I started to connect the dots. I joined a couple of Facebook groups and read other women's stories. There were a lot of women who said their first set was fine, but once they got their replacement set, they started experiencing symptoms. The penny dropped for me, and I realised it wasn't because of the stress from Covid, I had my second surgery in early 2022, which started to make so much sense.

After reading all the possible symptoms, I realised I had over 50% on the list. Mine included
◾️Brain Fog
◾️Bloating / Constipation / Food Sensitivities
◾️Fatigue
◾️Hair loss
◾️Increased Thyroid Antibodies (on my way to having auto immune disease)
◾️Brittle nails
◾️Ringing ears
◾️Vertigo
◾️Dizziness
◾️Dry skin
◾️Low libido
◾️Anxiety
The list goes on.

I explanted on the 9th of Dec with Dr Messer on the Gold Coast. Surgery went well. I had no lift and felt a massive difference the first week. My spark was back, brain fog gone, and my energy has been growing with every week that passes! CONTINUED IN COMMENTS...

I can't believe that was our last woman's circle for 2024 😭

I started these groups with the intention to practice my breathwork coaching and expose women to stress management practices. Little did I know the depth of what these circles would become and mean. 💗

You can't really explain it because it's a feeling. A feeling of support, understanding, compassion, and love. Each woman coming for her own reasons. Some to take a little time out, others to feel heard, some needing validation, support, or a safe space to just be.

Life has guided me into this healing space, and the gratitude I feel is beyond words. It's a privilege to share these intimate moments and wisdom with women who are looking to rise and be their best.

A special shout out to Kim for stepping into the space with her confidence and knowledge, and Belinda for teaching us how to EFT tapping sequence to help shift stress. It's been a beautiful collage of sharing so far, and I can't wait for more women to step forward and share their gifts in this space.

I will be continuing these for 2025, so if you haven't been able to attend, you haven't missed out.

Sending so much love to all the women going through it right now. I'm here for each and every one of you. 💗

🎉 Let's celebrate Britt, who achieved another amazing loss. This time losing 9.4kg in just 6 weeks 😲 thanks to my Agressive Diet Program. This takes her total weight loss to nearly 20kg in less than a year! INSANE!!!

Brittany is now radiating confidence, eating for performance, and training to get strong. With plans to have another baby in the future, she now has all the information and experience to approach her post-partum journey with confidence. She invested in me as a coach, but in turn invested in not only her immediate goals, but lifelong education to ensure she has control of her health forever.

I get it, investing in a coach can seem like an expense you can't afford. Consider this... time is the only currency we can not get more of. So if you are unhappy and feeling held back in life due to your weight, wouldn't it be even more expensive to stay the same? Can you afford to waste any more time feeling less than amazing!?🫣

💓It's time to do something about how you feel and prioritise your health. Invest in me as your coach, and you will not only lose the weight, you will learn the life skills to keep it off for good!

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY SALMON COCONUT CURRY

This little number is my current go-to when my belly is feeling a bit upset from overdoing the indulgences on the weekend🫣. Minimal ingredients, loads of flavour, easy on the tummy, and is so simple to make.

How is this dish anti-inflammatory, you may ask? Well, it contains 3 key ingredients that have been shown to help reduce inflammation
》Salmon- contains fish oil, which has been shown to have amazing benefits, and one major one is reducing chronic inflammation, especially arthritis.
》Asian greens- contain phytonutrients, which have been shown to help protect the body from inflammation.
》Tumeric - contains polyphenols, which has antioxidant and also anti-inflammatory properties.

Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
- 2 fillets Salmon
- 1kg Green Prawns
- 2 tins Coconut Cream
- K**b Ginger
- 3 Cloves Grarlic
- 2 tblsp Olive Oil
- 2 Sweet Potatoes
- Salt
- 1 tblsp Squid Fish Sauce
- 1 tblsp Tumeric
- 2 bunches Asian Greens
- Coriander to garnish

DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven to 180°c
- Chop the sweet potato lengthways down the middle, Drizzle with olive oil and some salt and place cut side down on a baking tray
- In a medium heated pan, add 1 tblsp olive oil, grated garlic, and ginger and gently fry
- Chop the salmon into chunks and add to the pan along with peeled prawns
- Gently fry, then add coconut cream, tumeric, fish sauce and leave on a gentle simmer until the salmon and prawns are cooked
- Once the sweet potatoes are cooked through, remove and serve in a dish with steamed greens, curry and sprinkle with coriander
ENJOY!

GUYS! This is literally part one of Brittany's transformation! 😍😭

Britt came to me in Feb, a new mum in the depths of navigating her post-partum journey. Adjusting to her new body was a challenge, a common struggle I hear from all the mums I work with.

Her biggest goal was to build routine and get some education on how to fuel her body, and so she was the perfect fit for my 8 Week RESHAPE Program. Well, not only did she achieve that, but she also managed to shift a lot of her post-partum weight as a bonus.

It's not always the case for women to sustain milk supply whilst in a deficit, and for this reason, I always proceed with caution. However, Brittany's body surprised us both with how responsive it was to dieting whilst not affecting her supply, so we forged ahead with a weight loss plan.

Like most women I see, weight loss is the easy part. Developing a compassionate mindset often seems to need a lot more work. I was able to support Brittany in some mindset techniques that helped her build awareness around what she was saying to herself subconsciously. We were then able to find new thoughts that would lead to her making decisions that would empower her and help her move towards her goals instead of beating herself down.

💕 I am so proud of Brittany's and the amazing commitment she showed to herself. She showed up for herself day after day, and that is the true reason for her incredible success.

Stay tuned for her part two! It's absolutely mind-blowing 🤯.

I always said, "I'm not good at long distance running, it's just not my thing."

Well, this is my 2nd 10km event this year. I shaved 13 minutes off my previous time and have learnt firsthand that the secret to success has little to do with your ability and a lot to do with simply putting in the reps.

One life lesson I have started to fully understand is that no one is better than you. NO ONE!

It's easy to discredit our abilities and think that we are good or not good at things, and that's just the way life is. The reality is, however, we can all do whatever we want to do. You can be great at anything!

That person that can lift heavier than you - they aren't better than you, they have just spent more time lifting weights.

That person that can run faster than you - they aren't better than you, they have just spent more time running.

That person that can speak another language - they aren't better than you, they have just spent more time learning it.

You can do anything you want to do. You just have to put in some effort, consistency, and focus, and you can achieve it! DO. THE. REPS.

So, from someone who used to discredit my abilities, I'm encouraging you to stop wasting your life thinking you're not good enough. You are. ✨️

P.s big shout out to these beautiful women who got out of their comfort zones with me and did the hard thing today. Jess got her first 10km today, and it was such a great memory running over that finish line with you. 💚 .currumbin .pimpama representing!

Congrats to this cute muffin for getting accepted into the NAVY!

Being a coach, you often share in the highs and lows of your clients' lives, and yesterday was one of those happy life achievement days.

Jess has been training with me for a while and always worked towards getting accepted. It was such great news to hear her next step in life has come into reality.

Proud of you, Jess ✨️

You will never see 'Wedding Cake Decorater' in my bio 😅

For everyone who has been following cakegate.... Look, it came out better than my practice (swipe to the end), so that was a relief, and it wasn't a complete eyesore, haha.

It certainly was a challenge to ice in the North Queensland humidity as the icing just wanted to melt off soon as it left the fridge. 🫠

But hey, it was a fun challenge, and I loved being creative and sharing joy at my besties wedding.

Big thanks to for carrying it for me, I know that was very heavy and stressful, haha. ❤️

Thanks to everyone for your support, tips, and who taste tested and assured me, 'at least it tastes amazing.' Haha. Love you all! Now, no more baking me!

This is such an interesting question. I don't think we actually take the time to consider how much the outside world influences our beliefs, especially in relation to our body image.

A belief is simply a thought we have chosen to think over and over until it becomes true in our mind. Society has told us over and over that if we don't meet a certain look/ standard, we are deemed unattractive. We aren't born hating our body. We are taught to.

I encourage you to ask yourself this question and really think about the gravity of it. Perhaps you can find some compassion for yourself and celebrate what amazing things your body has done for you instead of hating it for not meeting the unrealistic expectations of the world.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this! Drop a comment below. X

Hey, my Flourish Fam!

You may have noticed I've been a bit absent on this account. I wanted to just update you all with where I'm at.

Right now, I find myself in the thick of a big business building phase. I've transitioned a lot of my focus back into my first babies .pimpama and .currumbin .

I've been working away in the marketing side of the business and also stepped back into building our community initiatives. This is taking a huge chunk of my time, but I've been loving being so creative. The problem with this is there is so much time and effort going into building, and I don't have much to show... just yet. My head has been buried in my laptop for weeks.

The good news is that we are building a platform to house more challenges in the clubs and a subscription platform where all our members can learn, grow, and better their health across all facets > MOVEMENT . MINDSET . NOURISHMENT.

I have been passionate about making my services self-paced and cost-effective for those who want to learn but can't afford to have 1-2-1 coaching. What I have been building will offer this as well. 😍

We are hoping to have all of this completed by the end of the financial year, which is exciting but also a little overwhelming. 😅

I'm also working on building my aggressive dieting program as I had a large interest in that as I was doing it.

Anyway, I just wanted to say I love you all, and I'm sorry I'm not sharing as much content as normal. Hopefully, over the next couple of months, things should shift, and I can make space for more clients and create more content. This is the unseen part of any business- doing the mundane, hard, and intensly difficult work to grow, which just takes time and discipline.

Thank you so much for all your support, and I can't wait to be able to provide you all with what we are building.

I'll keep you all in the loop as much as possible, so stay tuned 👀

THE SECRET IS OUT! ☀️

I have been accepted into the Cool 2 Be Conscious Breathwork Practitioner training for 2024.

I am currently undergoing 11 weeks of study and education, which will lead me to my final practical - a 5 day emersive retreat where we get to practice in person our learnings.

I am currently in week 2 and have already learnt so much about trauma patterns, meditation practices, mindset, and breathwork, with a heap more insights to come from some pretty amazing coaches.

This new learning will enable me to provide support and be a place of safety for so many who are looking to understand early traumas and how they manifest in their present life. This work encourages a connection back into the body to bring space and awareness to our thoughts and actions so we can create lasting change.

My ultimate business goal is to host life changing retreats, and this is the last piece of my puzzle to get there, which feels so exciting!

I can't wait to share what this journey brings.

I hope you all have a magic week! ✨️

❤️ Chella x
