This month, we honour not only prevention, but recovery! The stage that helps women reconnect with their bodies and feel like themselves again. 💕

After mastectomy, breast reconstruction, or chemotherapy, especially when lymph nodes have been removed, the body experiences changes in circulation, fluid balance, and tissue healing, often leading to swelling and toxin build-up.

The lymphatic system plays a vital role in clearing what the body can’t process alone. When supported through gentle lymphatic drainage, healing feels lighter and more complete.

These sessions can help reduce swelling, ease tightness, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural recovery process. Every body is different, which is why post-op and oncology-related treatments at Lymph4You are always personalised!

Four sessions apart: Same body, different flow.

When your lymphatic system is moving properly, it shows. Less fluid retention, smoother contour, lighter feeling! It’s your body working the way it should.

Whether your goal is detox, hormonal balance, or feeling more confident in your skin, consistency truly transforms.

Most people blame long hours of sitting for post-flight swelling, but there’s more going on than meets the eye.

Airplane food, for example, is typically low in fiber and packed with preservatives and sodium. This combination slows down your digestion and contributes to water retention — one reason many people feel puffy and bloated after flying. Add low cabin pressure and dry air, and your body is left struggling to keep fluids moving properly.

A few overlooked factors behind travel swelling:
• Lack of fibre in meals means slower digestion and more bloating
• Dehydration isn’t just from not drinking water, but also from the recycled, dry cabin air
• Alcohol has a double effect: it dehydrates while also disturbing circulation
• Tight waistbands and restrictive clothing can trap fluids in the midsection and lower limbs

These subtle factors often build up and leave you feeling heavy and uncomfortable when you land.

Why lymphatic drainage after travel helps:
It’s not only about reducing visible swelling — it’s about helping your body flush out retained fluids, reactivating sluggish digestion, and restoring circulation. That’s why so many frequent travellers add lymphatic drainage to their routine after long-haul flights: it resets the body so you can feel light and comfortable again.

Book your post-travel session and support your body’s recovery after flying.

Cold legs, stiff joints, and that heavy, slow feeling?
You’re not alone — winter slows everything down, including your circulation. ❄️

When it’s cold, your blood vessels constrict and your lymphatic flow can get sluggish, leading to puffiness, swelling, and that “stuck” sensation — especially in the legs.

Lymphatic drainage helps get things moving again. It boosts circulation, reduces fluid retention, and brings back that light, relaxed feeling.

If your legs are feeling the winter slowdown, this is your sign to book a session and get that flow back.

Ever feel that heavy, congested feeling around your eyes, cheeks, or forehead — especially during allergy season or after a cold?

That pressure isn’t just about mucus. It’s also about your lymphatic system. Your lymphatic system plays a huge role in keeping your sinuses clear and your immune system strong.

Here’s how:
• Drains excess fluid: When your sinuses get inflamed or irritated, they produce more mucus. Your lymphatic system helps drain that fluid — but if it’s not flowing properly, it can build up and worsen pressure or puffiness.

• Supports your immune system: Lymph nodes in your neck filter out bacteria, viruses, and allergens. If your lymphatic system is congested, your body can struggle to fight off infections or inflammation effectively.

• Reduces inflammation: Sluggish lymph flow can cause swelling, especially around your eyes and cheeks — the same areas where you feel sinus pressure.

• Breaks the cycle of chronic congestion: For those dealing with frequent sinus issues, supporting lymphatic flow can help prevent that constant cycle of blockages and inflammation.

That’s why facial lymphatic drainage can be a game-changer. It gently stimulates your lymphatic system to help:

- Reduce puffiness
- Relieve sinus pressure
- Improve drainage
- Support your natural detox process

Sometimes, all it takes is encouraging your body to do what it’s already built to do.

Coconut Water vs. Electrolytes: What’s the Best Choice for Hydration?

Not all hydration is created equal! Coconut water and electrolyte drinks both support hydration, but they work in different ways.

🥥 Coconut Water – Naturally rich in potassium, and also contains magnesium, with a lower amount of sodium. Great for everyday hydration or a refreshing boost on warm days and after light activity.

⚡ Electrolyte Drinks – Designed to quickly replace sodium, potassium, and other key minerals lost through heavy sweating. Ideal after intense workouts, time in the sauna, or when you’re feeling dehydrated. These aren’t typically needed daily — unless advised by a healthcare professional.

So, which one should you choose?

✔️ For light hydration & a natural boost:
Go for coconut water.
→ A reasonable amount is around 250–500ml per day, alongside plenty of plain water.

✔️ For high-intensity workouts or heavy sweating:
Reach for an electrolyte drink.
→ Use when needed — they’re best reserved for days when you’re really losing fluids.

💧 The key? Plain water is non-negotiable.
Aim for at least 2 litres a day. Coconut water is a nice addition, and electrolytes can be saved for those sweaty, fluid-loss days.

⚠️ Have a health condition? Always check in with your GP before making changes to your hydration habits.
