I’ve been asked so many times how did I handle my Wacky 🤪 Monday so well?

I’ll catch you up! 🍵
5am bus 🚌 pick up 6:30am learn my flight to Perth is no longer direct, Melbourne here I come. 5h flight ✈️ now 6.5 hours flight time + change planes.
Wait for my bag until it’s very clear it is not coming around ……. Staff member informs me it’s on another flight coming after 9pm, Diego the stuffed toy was in it & he’s sentimental so I didn’t want to loose him 🐶🐾
Horrible rainy cold weather & I suffer from SAD…… no clean clothes to change into but let’s try a hot shower 🚿 COLD & BROWN but already in it soooooo what do you do?
Couldn’t get to sleep wanting my bad to arrive, so 12 hour travel day + more …….
It was all the little things too like I put my water bottle under the plane so I was so thirsty & no Wifi in the plane to do work so had to do it once at hotel cold in a robe 😰

It was ALL out of my control so getting upset 😭 or taking it out on anyone would not improve my day only dampen theirs so I laughed, my friends & work colleagues supported me with offers of clothes & suggestions of what to buy if my bag didn’t arrive. I never felt alone and before you know it, Tuesday came & things got back on track.

Mindset is everything! I could have let it bring me and the whole trip down but would that really serve me? 🔑

We constantly need to take a pause, reflect & direct our actions to where we want to go and who we want to be ❣️

Excuses are easy & take accountability away 🙊🙈🙉
Own your life, design it to your standards 🎆 & take sustainable actions to get there 😎

So I grew up in a time where only SUPER skinny, girls who didn’t eat were shown and became the definition of beauty. 💔

Yup I fell for it too! ❤️‍🩹
I wanted to fit in & have people like me, I was a victim to pop culture & sociality pressured I didn’t even realise! 🫗🍽️

I would eat very little & skip meals. I would over exercise, especially cardio, as we had to run off the food 🤪🎂🧁

How do you define healthy?
What does fit look like to you?
When was the last time you worked with a nutritionist / dietitian around your food intake?

More people are fibre deficient than protein deficient so I highly recommend you start adding lots of colourful fruit and veggies to your meals 🥦🌽🍠

Fuel the body & especially the brain for success. 🍵 If you are not eating enough you won’t be able to give yourself what you need to enjoy and live your best life.

Stepping away from the noise & connecting deep with your true authentic self will support you to forge your own “right” path. Not that any are wrong or right, just different. 🎱

You might suppress yourself to learn you enjoy something you never thought you would. 🥦🛴🎼🛼

It takes strong character to step outside the boxes & expectations of others & let their personally reflected judgment wash off you, let’s work together to build this confidence within! I know it’s there within you already, let’s unlearn the real authentic loveable, strong you 🌈☀️💫

Life can change in a moment & it’s way to short to wait to start living yours after the weekend, after the next holiday, “next year”. 🌈

It’s the failures & hard time that challenge us to make choices & become who we want to be.
What happened in your childhood that you could reflect on & maybe choose a different path moving forward?
Repeating the same thing over and over again expecting a different result is much like gambling!
Let’s increase our odds through conscious choices in the direction we want to go.
