Little feet, big feelings 🫶🏼 🧘
One of the key focuses in our kids yoga classes is talking about emotions and developing emotional regulation. In this class we explored a variety of emotions where each child randomly chose an emotion card and shared how that emotion might feel in our bodies. We then brainstormed together ways to handle those feelings with some suggestions being taking a breath, talking to someone, giving a hug, drawing a picture, sharing happiness and practicing gratitude 🙏🏼
This process not only boosts emotional awareness but helps children to recognise their feelings and equips them with strategies to manage them. The beginning of a beautiful journey fostering emotional intelligence and resilience in our little ones✨
