A gummy smile occurs when the muscles above the mouth are hyperactive, pulling up the top lip. This leads to more gum to be exposed while smiling than would normally be visible.

A treatment of anti-wrinkle injections targeted into this hyperactive muscle relaxes it and allows the lip to sit naturally. The result is a natural smile where the lips, gums and teeth are all in proportion.

Anti Wrinkle Duration ⏳

After your initial injectable treatment you will except to see full results in 2 weeks. In some cases you may see results around day 5. We recommend waiting the full 2 weeks to assess the results as each area and side my slightly differ. We always book a 2 week follow up appointment in this instance.
We do offer complimentary follow up appointments.

Your results will peak at 2 weeks and last through to week 8 (on average) after this it will slowly start to wear off near towards the 3 month mark. Again, these results slight differ from person to person.

Myth Buster 💥When your anti wrinkle wears off you will not look worse, as the muscle is relaxed the muscle slowly decreases in size and actually improves your appearance and lines, the muscles doesn’t pull on you skin as much! Early prevention is 🔑
