At the Yoga Room, we are committed to assist you in establishing the correct foundation to receive the full benefits of yoga. We put a lot of effort into practicing what we preach so we can instruct authentic yoga. Yoga Room is inspired by Iyengar Yoga, a form of hatha yoga combining postures (asana) and breathing (pranayama) with mental focus. Our dedicated and down to earth teachers, welcome students of all levels. We place a strong emphasis on alignment and awareness, leaving students feeling more flexible, calm and rejuvenated. It’s fully equipped with mats, straps, bricks, bolsters and wall ropes. The space is light and airy, with large windows to let in fresh ocean air. We are upstairs in the Big B Arcade on James St, a short walk from Burleigh beach.
