31 March – Neurodiverse Mothers Support Group
A couple of spaces still available
🤍 11 April – Mother Like Us – Bereaved Parents Support Event
✨ All other groups (village art & perinatal mental health support…. Join the waitlist please as spaces often open up!)
Reminder that all of our Motherhood Village groups are free of charge, with small group sizes to ensure a safe, supportive and connected space. Bookings are essential via our website.
🌸 We will be taking a short break over the Easter school holidays, returning week beginning 20 April
(our Grief & Loss support group will continue during this time).
🏡 Location Update
We wanted to share openly with our community that our much-loved space at Isle of Capri will soon be undergoing renovations.
As Motherhood Village continues to grow, we have reached a point where a permanent home is needed, one that allows us to support more mothers, expand our groups, and be there for our community in an even bigger way.
We are currently exploring options and expect a transition into a new space in Term 2.
Once confirmed, we will:
- Contact all booked mothers directly
- Share updates here on socials
- Send email communications to keep everyone informed
💫 About Our Support Groups
Our peer support groups are open to mothers from pregnancy through to five years postpartum navigating:
• Anxiety, overwhelm, or depression
• Isolation or adjustment challenges
• Birth trauma
• Grief and loss
• Neurodiversity and complex experiences
• Acute perinatal mental health experiences (including recovery following psychosis or Mother & Baby Unit admission, such as the Lavender Unit)
• Mothers who are medical and health professionals
• Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) and multicultural mothers
A gentle, non-judgemental space where you can connect, be heard, and feel supported 🤍
As always, please reach out anytime if you have questions or need help finding the right group for you.
