If your mind feels constantly “on” in motherhood... juggling feeds, naps, appointments, messages, and everything in between... this is for you 🤍

Take a moment to pause. You’ve been holding so much in your mind. The lists, reminders, responsibilities, worries. It’s as if your brain has too many tabs open, all demanding attention. This little pause is your space to close down the noise,
even just for a few breaths.

Bring awareness to your breath. Just noticing. Notice the rising and falling sensation. as you breathe in and out. Imagine each inhale bringing clarity … and each exhale, releasing some of the clutter.

Picture your mind like a computer screen filled with tabs. Each tab is a thought, a task, a worry. Now, imagine yourself slowly clicking the little ‘x’ on one of them. You don’t need to clear them all. Just one … and then another. With each breath out, let one tab close.

One less thing to hold.

Remind yourself: not everything needs to be held right now. Some things can wait. Some things will sort themselves out.

For now, you are giving yourself permission to rest. You are worthy of rest. A moment to be still.

If it feels right, repeat softly to yourself:
· I am allowed to pause.
· I don’t need to hold it all at once.
· Right now, this is enough.

Take a final deep breath in … and a long breath out. Feel your shoulders soften, relax your jaw. Your mind a little quieter.

When you return to your day, you may still have tabs open, but for this moment, you’ve given yourself space. And that matters.

Thank you to our Motherhood Village Board Director Teall, Perinatal Psyhchologist from for kindly sharing these moments with our community.

Feedback from this mum… this sums up what Motherhood Village is all about 🤍

It’s such an honour getting to know each mother who walks through our doors.

Being with you each week or fortnight, holding space in such a vulnerable time, is something we deeply value. And getting to know your little ones is truly special.

Saying goodbye when mums are ready to return to work or transition out of our groups is always bittersweet. We’re proud of how far you’ve come and grateful we could be a steady support, but it’s hard to farewell someone who has become part of our village.

If you’re a mum in need of support, reach out and book into a free group. We’d love to welcome you.

If you want to help more mums access our support when they need it most, you can donate via the link in our BIO. 🤍

🏡 Location Update
We wanted to share openly with our community that our much-loved space at Isle of Capri will soon be undergoing renovations.

As Motherhood Village continues to grow, we have reached a point where a permanent home is needed, one that allows us to support more mothers, expand our groups, and be there for our community in an even bigger way.

We are currently exploring options and expect a transition into a new space in Term 2.

Once confirmed, we will:
- Contact all booked mothers directly
- Share updates here on socials
- Send email communications to keep everyone informed

How lucky are we to have such an amazing community 🤍

Our Resident Grandma volunteers are the heart of Motherhood Village. Every week, they show up with love, caring for the little ones so our mums can take a breath, connect, and feel supported during their groups. We honestly don’t know what we’d do without them!

A special shoutout to Kym, who not only gives her time so generously but also brought in extra donations through her work with to share with our mums 💛

Thank you to Kym and the whole Resident Grandma volunteer team…your kindness and care help make our village so special 🤩

Sometimes the most powerful encouragement comes from another mum who has been there. 🤍

Here are a few words shared by mothers who have attended our groups

“Thank you for creating such a safe space.”

“This group has been a lifeline during one of the hardest seasons of my life.”

If you’ve been wondering whether to come along, we hope these words from other mums help you feel a little more comfortable taking that first step. You don’t need to have the right words, and you never have to share more than you feel ready to.

Our groups include mental health peer support for:

• Perinatal Depression and Anxiety
