Want to clean your house chemical free? I use these oils in the home and get great results. Chemical free cleaning is easy with pure essential oils. I created this kit as others were asking for alternates to chemicals - so here it is...contains:
Eucalyptus 100% Pure Essential Oil :
Pest Deterrent – Use eucalyptus oil to wipe down areas where you’re prone to getting ants or cockroaches. Also put 3 or 4 drops of eucalyptus on a cotton ball and place in the areas where ants/cockroaches hang out – they will move on quick smart!
Floor Cleaner – add around 15 drops of eucalyptus oil to a bucket of hot water then mop the floors. I also add some white vinegar.
Anti-Moth & Silverfish Treatment – To deter moths or silverfish in your cupboards spray or wipe drawer liners or cupboard walls with straight eucalyptus oil. A drop of oil on a padded cotton disc also works as a deterrent and freshens the air.
Adhesive Remover – Eucalyptus oil can be used straight to remove sticker/decal residue from glass (like your car rego stickers!)
Lemon 100% Pure Essential Oil: Use on wood cutting boards to kill any bacteria. Use a few drops on stainless steel appliances in the kitchen to clean and shine. Add 5-10 drops lemon essential oil to your natural window cleaner, or make your own by combining white vinegar with 3 drops of lemon essential oil in a spray bottle. Shake to mix
Lavender 100% Pure Essential Oil: The best way of using lavender to clean your kitchen and bathroom is to make a spray. Fill a spray bottle with half vinegar and half water, then add about 8-10 drops of lavender oil and shake to combine. You can use this for cleaning and sanitising a variety of surfaces – for example, your bathroom sinks, kitchen counter tops, or door k***s.
Please also remember if you are pregnant it's best to steer clear of essential oils unless you have advice from your medical practicioner or aromatherapist
