✨ Core & Floor Workshop — hosted by BUMP Burleigh Heads ✨

Join us for a supportive and educational workshop designed to help you understand your postnatal body and confidently begin your return to exercise.

During pregnancy and birth, your body undergoes incredible changes — including shifts in pelvic floor function, abdominal separation, core stability, posture, and overall strength. In this workshop, we’ll break down what’s changed, what’s normal, and what to look out for as you rebuild safely.

We’ll also guide you through an optional gentle mat Pilates flow, suitable from 4 weeks postpartum, focusing on:
• Pelvic floor activation
• Breathwork
• Safe abdominal exercises (including considerations for abdominal separation)
• Rebuilding stability and strength from the inside out

Whether you’re newly postpartum or simply want to better understand your core and pelvic floor, this workshop will leave you feeling informed, supported, and empowered as you return to movement.

Meet Dr Sam Purcell, Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.

Born and raised on the Gold Coast, Dr Purcell provides warm, approachable and reliable care across obstetrics and gynaecology. He has extensive experience in complex caesarean sections, obstetric ultrasound, endometriosis surgery, hysteroscopic surgery and fertility care.

Dr Purcell is known for his calm presence during times of stress or medical urgency and takes pride in supporting both patients and their families with compassionate, patient-centred care.

Our wonderful Midwives have lovingly put together these bags filled with essential women’s products to support the incredible Share The Dignity organisation.💖

Share The Dignity is an Australian women’s charity making a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or simply doing it tough. They ensure that women, girls, and anyone who menstruates have access to the period products they need because when someone is struggling, the last thing they should have to worry about is managing their period.
