Summit Sports Physiotherapy is the culmination of over 25 years of experience as a physiotherapist for Tim Brown. During this time Tim has worked as an employee in other clinics and run a successful large Sports Physiotherapy Centre himself – this for close to 20 years. After a brief 18 months of working in the public hospital system Tim decided to create his own clinic and run this clinic based

on what has become his core beliefs – client care and outcome focused service. To do this the clinics approach is the delivery of physiotherapy in the simplest manner – keep the clinic small to enable a better patient/clinician relationship to develop and through this, deliver exactly what the client needs in a “time rich “ manner.

5 YEARS OF SUMMIT SPORTS PHYSIO -PART 1-

April 1st 2026 was 5 years since Josh and Kelsie took on ownership of Summit Sports Physio. You truly don’t realise how far you’ve come, until you stop, sit and reflect… Part 1 is simply 2021 alone. 😅

1. Who our journey started with- and who we still call on to this day. Business. Life. All of it. Grateful for Tim and Rhonda’s guidance. 🙏🏻

2. 13-month old and a new clinic with Josh working full-time in pro sport and COVID still lurking. Why not throw a new puppy in the mix for good measure? 🙃

3. Our founding team who we still keep in contact with (you guys are welcome back anytime Hayley and Dave 😂). Learning how to run a business was a breeze with this crew beside us. 🫶

4. Josh wasn’t around much in the early days. Working full time in Brisbane with the QLD Reds. But they won the Super Rugby premiership in 2021. Worth it 🏆

5-7. ‘This is the clinic’. We had big plans for this space and couldn’t wait to bring our vision to life. ✨

8. We solidified our commitment to and continued to build our wonderful relationship with an even better local club. 🦁

We have some news… 👀

Our owner and director, Kelsie, has accepted a 3-month contract in Malaysia working as the physio with The 🤩

The Jewels are a professional state-based netball team from Johor, Malaysia, competing in the Netball Super League — Malaysia’s top national netball competition. With two Aussie athletes joining The Jewels this season, it is sure to be an exciting adventure! ✨

Kelsie will share some glimpses in to life in Malaysia through our Summit Sports Physio socials. 📸

In Kelsie’s absence, the clinic will be business as usual, with Josh, Jade and Jack taking over Kelsie’s patients until her return in May. Yesterday Kelsie and Jade attended the .circleofsupport luncheon- raising well needed funds and awareness for 🌸

Summit donated a signed and framed 2025 Brisbane Broncos jersey which was auctioned off for $2900. A great outcome for a wonderful charity doing such important work, in total raising over $70,000! 👏🏻👏🏻

Meet Jade.

Although she is a kiwi 🇳🇿 we don’t hold that against her (too much 😄)

Jade is an experienced physiotherapist that has a strong background in running and a keen interest in all musculoskeletal injuries, strength and conditioning and exercise rehabilitation.

Away from work, you’ll find Jade pounding the pavement with , at the gym or by the beach.

We are incredibly fortunate to have the knowledge and experience that Jade brings to our Summit team!

Meet Jack.

Originally from Ballarat, Victoria, Jack has worked exclusively in private practice and brings a wealth of knowledge to our team.

Jack has a keen interest in all sports related injuries, with experience in AFL and more recently gaining his strength and conditioning certifications to elevate the rehab experience for his patients.

Jack enjoys engaging with his patients and helping them achieve their goals through manual therapy, exercise prescription and education.

Away from work, Jack enjoys keeping fit with running, playing AFL and enjoying all that the Gold Coast has to offer ☀️

Phew. What a year.

2024 has been the biggest year to date for Summit Sports Physio, which would not have been possible without the wonderful support from our community. So, thank you.

We are a small, locally owned family business and we strive to provide the absolute best physiotherapy care to our community. We are very proud of the team we have and their dedication to their patients.

We hope you find some time amongst the Christmas chaos to relax and recharge, and spend time with those you hold dearest. Merry Christmas! See you in 2025.

We are so proud to have Jason back in clinic after a highly successful campaign at the 2024 World Skydiving Championships for Wingsuit Performance in the USA. ✈️

Jason came to Kelsie with a serious shoulder injury, 6 weeks out from leaving for the USA to train and compete. 😐

With such a short timeframe, Kelsie, Josh and Jason put everything into his rehab and the outcomes were simply outstanding. For Jason to be flying at 290km/hr after his injury was beyond incredible. 🤯 A true testament to the professional that Jason is.
