Be like the ocean
Calm but deep.

You hold the power, a choice so fine,
In every moment, a path divine.
No matter the past, no matter the pain,
You can rise above, break free from the chain.

Your past can be a prison, or a lesson learned,
A choice to rise, or in shadows burned.
You can be a victim, or a warrior true,
The choice is yours, in all you do.

Endure, survive, or thrive, the choice is key,
To be present, or lost, in misery.
Even in darkness, a glimmer of light,
A chance to choose, and take flight.

Don’t punish yourself, for choices past,
But learn from them, and let wisdom last.
You had options, though they may seem few,
Choose to take control, and see it through.

Sometimes not choosing, is a choice unseen,
A hidden path, that keeps you stuck, and lean.
Take back your power, don’t give it away,
Choose to rise, and seize a brighter day.

In every moment, a choice is made,
To rise above, or in shadows fade.
Choose life, choose hope, choose to be free,

Happy birthday, seize the day,
Grab life’s hand, and find your way.
No more fear, no more tears,
It’s time to live, and claim your years.

You’ve got many a year, make it count,
Take a stand, and prepare to dismount.
Live the life you’ve always dreamed,
And make each moment be extreme.

It’s time to spend more days,
In nature’s peace, in sunny ways.
Trips in the van, with wind in hair,
Reading, singing, without a care.

The Colours here on the wall, for all to see,
A reflection of you, wild and free.

A w**d or a wish, a fleeting thought,
Just a swish, and life’s plot is brought.
From hell to bliss, it twists and turns,
Unpredictable, life’s lessons to learn.

No answers today, just feelings deep,
Emotions swirling, in endless repeat.
But in the midst of uncertainty’s haze,
I make a choice, a path to blaze.

Today, I’ll choose to swish, to shift, to sway,
To move towards bliss, come what may.
No guarantees, no promises made,
Just a willingness to let go, to walk the charade.

In the swish of life, I’ll find my way,
Through w**ds and wishes, night and day.
And though the journey’s uncertain, I’ll stride,
With every swish, a step towards the other side.

A swan with wings tipped of snowy white,
Had dreams that danced beneath the night,
She yearned for freedom, wild and free,
A life beyond her family’s sea.

With courage in her heart, she took to flight,
Leaving behind the familiar light,
Her family watched, with wonder and dismay,
As she soared into a brand new day.

She chased the sun, and danced with glee,
Living life on her own wild sea,
Though distant from her family’s nest,
Her spirit sang, and she found her best.

Her dream had wings, and she did fly,
A swan of courage, in a world so high.

A Good Reminder ❤️

You’re in the process of reversing generations
of habit and conditioning.

It was never meant to be easy, but you know what would’ve been more difficult ?
Continuing on the path you were on.

You often say that getting into this new space is so much more difficult than we like to admit, but do you ever think of where you’d be if you never made the decision to impact your life in this way?

It’s one thing to celebrate this awakening, but it’s just as important to celebrate what would’ve been that no longer is. You deviated for a reason.

Remember that whenever this new path gets a little tough, and especially when things are going well.

Every feeling you have is showing You to You.

Every person is showing You to You.

All is a lesson a mirror and a teacher.

If you lose yourself in life you simply keep bumping into yourself, the unhealed wounds from the past. Living life blaming life, others and yourself.

This darkness is your greatest teacher.
You can choose to live in your darkness or choose to do the work towards Enlightenment.

We can all find compassion and a greater understanding of ourselves if we dare to be courageous and vulnerable.

That means opening up to seeing Life in a different way.

Remember you came here in a specific journey.

This yellow rose was a timely gift from the ocean today, washed up along the shore.

A traditional symbol of friendship……. It took me back to where I was a year ago, the beginning of a long awaited deep dive into myself, to work on the lifetime effects of my blindness and uneducated conditioning I was raised into.

As my Gap year comes to a close I have come out the other side seeing life so differently.

What I once thought was love, attraction and connection was really the beggar inside me, seeking validation, attention, to be loved and so on.

This beggar on the street seeking valadation from MY INTERNAL LACK OF IT!

I no longer seek soothing, I no longer look to the outside world……as the lesson has been learned.

At peace with my new found friendship of self.
