Welcome baby Shiloh Mia Asmar 🤍

Shiloh was born on Friday 15 August 2025 at 9.06am under the care of Obstetrician Dr Drew Moffrey at Pindara Private Hospital.

Her story is a very special one. Both of her parents, Jaz (born 1994) and Will (born 1993), were also born at Pindara, both delivered by Dr Tim O’Dowd (now retired), who is pictured here with the family alongside Dr Moffrey.

Shiloh is the first Pindara grandchild and the third grandbaby on both sides of the family. Big brother Leo was excited to meet his little sister and welcome her into the family.

💛 A huge shoutout to our incredible cancer care teams who went all out for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea last week!

With delicious treats, generous raffle prizes and plenty of good cheer, our staff helped raise over $3,000 for the Cancer Council – supporting vital research, prevention and support services.

We’re so proud to stand with our community in working toward a cancer free future. ☕🎗️

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming the Ramsay Health Care Board and members of the Global Executive Team to Pindara.

It was a valuable opportunity for our local leaders to showcase the exceptional care our teams at Pindara and The Southport Private Hospital provide every day, and to walk them through parts of the hospital.

We also shared our longer-term plans—designed to ensure we continue our proud 54-year history of serving the local community well into the future.

Our volunteers bring warmth, support and a sense of connection to our hospitals — whether welcoming people at the front desk, assisting patients and families, or working behind the scenes. Their generosity and dedication make a real difference every day.

💙 This International Nurses Day, we honour the heart of healthcare — our incredible nurses.

For more than 60 years, Ramsay’s nurses and midwives have shaped our story. They’ve been there through life’s most defining moments — welcoming new life, supporting recovery, and offering comfort at the end of life.

While the settings and tools may have changed, the compassion, strength and presence at the core of this work remain the same.

Honouring courage and sacrifice.

On 25 April, we pause to honour ANZAC Day—a national day of remembrance that marks the anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli in 1915 and pays tribute to all Australians and New Zealanders who have served—and continue to serve—in times of war, conflict, and peacekeeping.

ANZAC Day is a powerful reminder of the courage, resilience, and sacrifice of those who came before us. It’s also a time to reflect on the values they upheld—mateship, endurance, and compassion—which continue to shape our communities today.

At Ramsay, we’re proud to care for veterans, service members, and their families every day. Today, we thank them—and remember them.
