We’ve reached Day 5 of joining Jean Hailee’s Women’s Health Week – and today is about taking action.

Preventive health is powerful:
🔍 Cervical screening
🩺 Blood pressure & cholesterol checks
🎗 Breast checks

Many conditions are silent early on – but regular screening helps catch them before they become serious.

If you’ve been putting it off, today is your sign to book.

For Day 4 of joining Jean Hailes’s Women’s Health Week, we’re joining the conversation on mental health. 🧠

1 in 5 Australian women will experience anxiety or depression, yet many don’t seek help early.

Prioritising rest, managing stress, and reaching out for support can make a huge difference.

Let’s break the stigma – mental health is just as important as physical health.

Day 3 of Women’s Health Week is all about nutrition. 🥦

Food is fuel – and the right balance supports energy, hormone health, and long-term wellbeing.

Try filling half your plate with colourful vegetables, add lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats.

Remember: it’s not about perfection, but about building sustainable habits.

It’s Day 2 of Women’s Health Week – and today’s focus is movement. 🚶‍♀️💃🏻

Regular activity lowers the risk of chronic disease, strengthens bones, boosts mood, and helps with sleep.

You don’t need a gym membership – walking the dog, gardening, or a quick Pilates session all count.

What’s your favourite way to move your body?

Beginner’s Guide to Core Stability with Pilates ✨

Your core does more than give you “abs” — it supports your spine, protects you from injury, improves posture, and even helps you breathe better. Pilates is one of the most effective (and low-impact) ways to build this foundation from the inside out.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, recovering from injury, or looking to enhance your strength, Pilates can be tailored to your body and goals.

👉 Swipe through to learn the basics of core stability and the different types of Pilates.

New mum wrist pain is real — and you’re definitely not alone.
It’s often due to De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis (a mouthful, we know!) which is inflammation of the tendons on the thumb side of your wrist.

Why it happens:
• Repetitive lifting and holding bub
• Awkward feeding or capsule positions
• Hormonal changes and fluid retention

What you might notice:
- Pain at the base of the thumb/wrist
- Worse with lifting or gripping
- Tender or swollen tendons

What can help:
- Learning supportive wrist positions
- Adjusting how you lift and feed

Taping (shoutout + )

Gentle rehab exercises

Splinting or GP referral if needed

This is general education, not personal medical advice. Always check in with your physio or healthcare provider for individual support.

Tag a new mum who needs this.
Have you had wrist pain since bub arrived?
