Habits shape your life. In 2025, let’s really simplify.

Focus on one habit at a time. It’s not about doing it all—it’s about building in small intentional change over time.

Part two of my Nervous System Foundations workshop is happening this Thursday, and it’s all about resourcing to reset in those moments when you're feeling activated.

If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, constantly in survival mode, or just can’t seem to find that sense of calm—you’re not alone. This is exactly why I created this workshop.

In Part Two, we’ll dive into:
✨ Practical tools to support your nervous system
✨ How to build resilience through easy, accessible practices
✨ Experiential exercises you can use anytime you feel overwhelmed

These are the same tools I use with my clients to help them move out of fight, flight, freeze, and back into a place of grounded connection. The best part? You don’t need to be “good at self-care” to benefit. These practices are simple, nurturing, and designed to fit into your real, everyday life.

P.S. If you can’t make it live, no worries! Register and you'll get access to watch the replay anytime.

I’d love to have you there.
xx

Now that the Chevron clinic is up and running, I'm excited to step back into the education space and offering this Nervous System Foundations workshop. There's so much I've had to split it into two parts!

Part one will focus on NS basics - getting an understanding of your nervous system anatomy, exploring what dysregulation looks and feels like, how we are wired to survive and how this translates into the nervous system responses of fight, flight, freeze and fawn.

Registration link is in bio and replay will be available so don't worry if you can't make it live.

🌿 5 Mindfulness Practices That Don’t Involve Meditation 🌿

Feeling overwhelmed or stuck in stress mode? These simple, mindfulness practices can help you find calm without traditional meditation.

Being in Nature: Let the natural world soothe your senses and ground your energy.
Rule of Three: Notice three things you can see, hear, and move or touch. It’s a quick way to re-centre.
Using Your Hands: Engage in hands-on activities like knitting, pottery, or gardening to connect with the present moment.
Physiological Sigh: This breathwork exercise is amazing to bring you right back into your body and the present moment instantly.
Progressive Muscle Relaxation: Tense and relax each muscle group to release stored stress and bring your body back into balance.

These mindfulness techniques are perfect for anyone needing a break from the chaos of everyday life. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, chronic stress, or just need a moment of peace, these practices offer a holistic approach body-centred stress management.

✨ Which practice resonates with you the most? Share your thoughts and save this post for when you need a quick mindfulness boost! ✨

Craniosacral + Somatic Therapy sessions use what's known as a bottom-up approach to healing. Unlike talk therapy, it emphasises the importance of bodily sensations, emotions and physical experiences in understanding and healing trauma, chronic pain, and nervous system dysregulation.

It's so beneficial because we can't talk or think ourselves into feeling safe and at home in our bodies (as much as we would like to). By tuning into our bodies and exploring sensations, we can begin to unlock deep-seated emotions and release held tension and survival patterns, leading to transformation, healing and lasting change.

Did you hear? Holistic bodywork is back on the treatment menu. Anatomically precise with an energetic approach, this full body massage experience is restorative and personalised.

Focusing on the muscles and the fascia of the body, you’ll get the benefit of the oil-based relaxation massage and bodywork you love, using a combination of techniques – flowing strokes, myofascial unwinding, acupressure, longer craniosacral holds and cupping where required.

With the nervous system in mind, these sessions are a potent blend of somatic healing, body-based practices, and soul medicine all woven together in an intentionally held space.

Fact - we are always going to be experiencing stress of some sort in our lives, whether it's the grind of everyday life punctuated by financial challenges, relationship dynamics, the mental load of running a household, parenting duties, or the burden of navigating health concerns.

It's how we mitigate or manage the effects of these stressors that has an impact on our long-term health. Learning techniques and having tools to help settle your body gives your nervous system a lower baseline so that when stress peaks again, or another challenge comes your way you have more bandwidth to deal with it.

Some of my favourite settling tools are grounding practices for my body - gently tapping under my collar bones or upper arms or rocking side to side and simple breathing exercises that feel supportive for me.

Let me know your favourites in the comments below.

Back in my happy place again this week with wonderful humans on my table.

While it's not always easy for me to distill into words my in-person treatments, the essence of them is this -

*a safe welcoming space for you to be heard and held
*an opportunity to meet yourself as your mind quietens
*connecting to your felt sense as your body unwinds and tension flows out

And while I can't always describe them eloquently or adequately I can tell you that they are something special. I see it in my client's faces and bodies when they leave, I hear it in their feedback.

My calendar is open and I'm ready to welcome you.
