Do you feel you are constantly STRIVING but never ARRIVING? The numbers mainly associated with this energy are the shadow side of 7, 6 and 4. Where do these numbers sit on your chart? Particularly if you have them as a Life Path number, a Karmic Lesson, a Karmic Debt, or as a Challenge, you may feel this way in certain areas of your life, or sometimes in all areas!

Today, as I do every day, I sat outside with my bare feet on the dewy grass, got some morning sun, ate some fruit, looked at the clouds and the trees, did some yoga, and then the magic happened. The most beautiful kookaburra caught my eye, sitting on a branch nearby, searching for its next meal. As soon as I saw it, I was in awe and couldn’t help but smile.

When perfectionism and constant goal chasing are tied in with anxiety, we can feel very far away from a sense of peace. In fact, rest and relaxation will feel like laziness. In a culture where worth = productivity, enjoying a daily routine of present moment awareness is a meaningful antidote. It’s about developing a different relationship with ‘achievement’.

Do you have a daily practice of just observing and being present? It’s free, need not take long, can be done outside or at home or sitting in traffic – really anywhere.

The outcome? Reduced anxiety, perfectionism, hypervigilance and ultimately better overall health 🌟

Autoimmune diseases now affect more women than ever—nearly 80% of all cases are found in women. New studies are pointing to a powerful underlying factor: chronic emotional suppression and the stress it creates within the body.

When emotions like grief, anger, or anxiety are held in and never expressed, the body absorbs the tension. This silent stress activates the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, flooding the system with stress hormones like cortisol. Over time, this disrupts immune regulation and can lead to the body attacking its own healthy cells.

Women, in many cultures, are conditioned to be the caretakers, peacekeepers, and emotional anchors. Often, they are encouraged to stay composed, polite, and quiet—even when hurting inside. This emotional silencing may offer temporary social stability, but internally, it builds a storm.

Autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto’s, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and multiple sclerosis often arise in people who describe themselves as “overly responsible,” “emotionally private,” or “never wanting to be a burden.” These patterns aren’t weaknesses—they’re survival strategies. But they come at a cost when healing is ignored too long.

This research is not about blame. It’s about understanding. If you’ve felt unheard, unseen, or emotionally exhausted—it matters. Your body listens even when no one else does.

Healing begins with truth, softness, and self-acceptance. Your feelings are not flaws. They’re messages calling you back to yourself.

On the long and potholed pathway to my awakening, late 1994 remains etched in my memory as I walked out of the cinema just having watched Pulp Fiction. I felt so despairing that our society had lost its way so badly that this violent movie was classed as ‘entertainment’. In fact, it received a great deal of critical and audience acclaim and apparently Harvey Weinstein was entranced by it. Hmmm.

That feeling of humans having lost their way has been reignited of late. If you are a highly sensitive person you may have also been picking up lately on the collective energy of horror over the recent revelations through non mainstream media. Maybe it has even filtered down to the MSM - I don’t know as I don’t engage with it as a rule.

It reminds me also of the collective energy around 9/11.

So what to do?

💫Allow yourself to feel and grieve

💫Get back in touch with nature every single day

💫Ramp up your practices that keep you centred, be that having a treatment or healing, meditation, yoga etc

💫Keep your detox pathways clear through whatever tools/supplements/somatic work you use

💫Connect with those that understand completely how you feel

💫And most importantly, be a lighthouse for those that did not know about this stuff until recently.
