She didn't join a gym.
She didn't go on a diet.
She didn't grind through 6am workouts or count every calorie.

You're not lazy. You're overtrained. There's a difference.
If you're over 40, training hard, and the scales haven't moved in months — I need you to hear this.

More exercise is not the answer.

Perimenopause and menopause change the rules completely. What worked at 30 actively works against you now. High intensity training spikes cortisol. Elevated cortisol tells your body to hold fat — especially around your middle.

The women getting results in my programs aren't the ones training hardest.
They're the ones who finally stopped fighting their body and started working with it.

“Not one. Not two. THREE.”
Three clients on coaching calls this week — all had big weekends.

The reason is — this is literally my weight loss advice.
For years I did what every diet told me to do. Cut the fat. Eat less. Survive on as little as possible and wonder why I was miserable, exhausted and still gaining weight.

Then I flipped it.
More fat. More protein. The right carbs cut back just enough to let your hormones do their job. Real food. Satisfying food. The kind you actually want to eat.
And the 10kg came off. And stayed off.

I call it the Goldilocks approach — not too much, not too little, just right. Every woman in my program eats this way. Their families eat it too. Nobody feels like they're on anything.
It's not keto. It's not a diet. It's just finally eating the right way for a woman's body after 40.

And yes. Steak counts.
I'm turning 50 this week and I'm celebrating every single thing that got me here. Including the steak.

She was the one trying dresses on. I was just there to help.
And then I saw it. Gold. Sequinned.
The kind of dress that makes people look — at your hips, your curves, every bit of you.
The old me would have walked straight past it.
But I'm turning 50 this year. And something has shifted.
I've lost 10kg and kept it off — not by living in the gym or surviving on guilt and lettuce. By finally finding a system that worked with my body instead of punishing it.
And standing in that change room I thought — why not me?
I'm a woman. A mum. I have hips and curves and a body that has lived a full life. I am done being ashamed of it.
So I hired the dress. Rocked it out at someone else's 50th.
Rehired it again because I loved wearing it the whole time.
This is 50. And I am absolutely owning it.
