First established in 2003 in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), this day—and the month surrounding it—aims to change public attitudes, break the stigma associated with su***de, and offer hope. It's also a time to share important resources with those affected by su***de. With the right support and timely intervention, many su***des can be prevented.
