And following on from the previous post, in Monto, I was leaving there to go north to Rockhampton, stay overnight, catch up on paperwork and calls etc...then onto Mackay, stay overnight, then arrive in Townsville to teach Eve Taylor Skin care day 1, the Art of blending Aromatherapy Day 2, Spa Body Day 3 for the Cert 3 and Beauty Therapy Diploma girls, Day 4 Cert 2. However, I received a couple of calls from my fellow educators up there, advising of the torrential rain and flooding, the roads cut at Proserpine and not too safe to drive. So instead of heading north I came south to Toowoomba, arrived last night & stayed with family. Heading home today.

And moving on from Bundaberg, I arrive in the beautiful town of Monto, 2.5 hours west of Bundy!!! Was a beautiful drive out in the country and I had good weather. I visited our newest Ambassador to Eve Taylor Australia, a new program we are launching!!! Fiona Knight, I met last year as a Bundaberg TAFE student and has become an overnight success story. Fiona opened up her own salon, next door to their Accounting practise and wanting a career change, started off doing Indian-head massage & foot treatments (already pre-qualified in the art of these) whilst attending TAFE 3days a week & working the other 3 days, became booked out pretty quickly, as the news spread amidst the small town, of Fiona's healing hands 🙌. Then after graduation, she has now added massage and facials to her menu, a magnesium spa, did couples treatments for Valentines Day. Fiona is chocka block full. I had the pleasure of visiting her new salon and we did training on the "lymphatic drainage facial technique" , Q&A, sharing ideas and so forth. We had so much fun, we ran out of time and had to race to the Pub at 7.45pm before the kitchen closed, otherwise I wouldn't get any food anywhere, lol!! The next morning I wandered through town, everyone says hello, very friendly town, including a lady selling raffle tickets, chatting with her & I mentioned Fionas training last night and she's says "ohhh she has the most amazing hands, I had a massage last week"...then i go to have breakfast, the lovely waitress, says "ohhh your my massage therapists trainer, she's awesome, Fiona told me you were coming" ...even the staff last night at dinner were promoting her from behind the bar, serving drinks!!! Was pretty cool!! And our model for the training last night, Kay, her skin was transfomed, she couldn't believe the change, so she just had to buy the range to maintain what we achieved. Another happy customer 😊🤗👍 # #
