30% of all drownings occur in Australian swimming pools each year. So while CPR signage may not go with your pool area aesthetics, it's vitally important you display this information in an area where everyone can see it. It really might help save a life.
Make sure your sign includes the following:
โ
how to perform CPR
โ
an explanation of what to do in an emergency (e.g. call 000, stay with the injured person, provide first aid)
โ
a note that CPR must start with 30 chest compressions, followed by 2 breaths.
