Low Impact Lower Body 🔥

Five body weight exercises that will build functional strength in your lower body.

~ Donkey pulse X 20 | each side

~ Scooter skater clam | X 10 each side

~ ISO squat and calf raise | 45 seconds

~ Plié + toe drag | X 5 each side

~ Squat march with rotation | X 10 to each side

This series includes a variety of ways to effectively target key muscle groups, including: isometric holds, top end range activation, as well as the all important loading on the full stretch phase of movement.

Mobility Moooves 🤗

Give these three exercises a try if you’re interested in working on your active hip rotation as well as stretching & strengthening your hamstrings and glutes.

Exercise list: 🌈

1️⃣ Deep lunge with back extension + hamstring stretch.
✖️Use the support of your back hand to help square your torso as you extend. Keep your hips level and bring your toes to your nose as you move into the hamstring stretch.

2️⃣ Split stance forward fold + rock back to hamstring stretch.
✖️Starting in a wider stance will help to maintain balance! Keep cutting the front hip back as you lengthen over and lift back up.

3️⃣ Three point hover hip CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations).
✖️ Actively move through a broad range of motion. Each time try to create a larger circle to improve control in the outer limits of your usable range.
