Early start to this morning to soak up the best of the beautiful GC weather before midday 😁✅🌞🚴🚴

Grateful for a beautiful sunrise over the beach as we rode to Coolangatta. Then with the wind behind us we upped the pace to get home in time to meet up for a catch up ride with the "NZ Trippers" following our Adventure Tour to New Zealand 😁✅
Adventures 2 Fit

Never a dull moment with this bunch of crazy people (my type of people 🤣) with Matt kick starting the fun with a pedal falling off, and a change of bike.

Onwards and upwards...that's how the Trippers roll... we covered three beautiful GC parks, made it to the beach for some scenery, trundled out 20km and finished with an amazing brekky at The Lott Cafe.

All done by 11:30am. You've got to love the very sunny April on the GC with beautiful days, lots of cycling and amazing people 🥰👌✅🚴

Well what a morning for coaches Jen & Pete....I think we just about covered it all 😁

In order to get our own training in..... it was a last minute idea to ride north to Main Beach for Peter to run Parkrun before venturing onto the Broadwater Parklands to make it in time to watch some of our juniors take part in the Luke Harrop Triathlon.

So the ride north turned into a bit of a time trial with us getting there with 1 minute to spare for Peter to whack his shoes on and get on the start line 🥵😵‍💫🤗 Nothing like a good bit of lactate in the legs before a solid 5km trail run 🤣🤣 Glad I wasn't running....I chose to pedal on up to the spit and back, where I then found him standing under a tree pondering life's choices 🤣

Onwards and upwards we then pedalled north where we found Daren, Evelyn and Natalie keen as mustard at the swim start of the triathlon 🏊🚴🏃 Such a beautiful day, perfect conditions for a swim, bike, run.

Daren came flying down the finish chute headed straight for the free sausage sizzle 🤣 This young fella makes us so proud every time we watch him. 100% effort, proud Mum watching on and always a giggle to be had.

Evelyn whirled out of the swim, such a strong run out of the water, smile beaming and a rippa of finish. This young athlete is a talent and a half, always smiling and taking the time to cheer her sister, Natalie on as well who seems to have the amazing athletic genes going on as well.

Meanwhile our legend Jacqueline whirled it up at Varsity Parkrun taking another 30 seconds off her 5k time from last week. Coach Jen activated Mission Miyagi 2 weeks ago and this lady has taken it hook line and sinker 🤣✅ Bring on Noosa Triathlon November 1st 💪

Looking forward to tomorrow's events at Luke Harrop Triathlon with some of our juniors and adults taking part.
Our A Body 2 Fit Triathlon Squad tent will be erected today so Peter and I will be putting in another ride effort as we trundle back from the Broadwater this arvo.

Coaches Jen and Peter's time in the Phillipines has come to an end and today we drive south back to Puerto Princesa from El Nido to board a plane for our next destination where I hear we'll be putting our warmer clothes to use 😁

We covered three islands whilst here - Cebu, Bohol and Palawan. We did the Sardine Run in Moalboal, dived and swam with the whale sharks in Oslob, explored and snorkled the most beautiful reef for two days straight off the steps of our local accommodation, found the most amazing temple in Cebu built by a man in honor of his wife (Peter best get busy🤣), hiked through the Chocolate Mountains, revelled with everyone on Alona Beach on New Year Eve, 🤣, had fun experiences driving our hire car throughout Bohol and Palawan and even got our first wheel clamp for apparently blocking the road 🤔🚫🤣

Today we drive south from El Nido back to Puerto Princesa to board our next flight at 12:50am 😬😜

Great to see everyone keeping active whilst also enjoying some much needed family time.
