Anyone CPR certified?

One study* found that out of 20 dummies used in a certification course, only one had breast overlays, meaning participants couldn’t actually practice on a dummy that accurately portrayed an average woman. The study also found that during a cardiac emergency, bystanders are less likely to provide women with CPR because they wouldn’t feel comfortable performing the procedure and touching their breasts.

When women are blatantly overlooked in tests and trainings like these and others—crash test dummies or defibrillator pad training—it not only proves to be unjust...it can quite literally mean life or death.

Heard about Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)? Wanted to become accredited but haven't had a chance? Need to train some people before EOFY? Has it been almost 3 years since your initial course?

We are offering a very unique opportunity to become accredited on MONDAY JUNE 23 for full Standard MHFA or to do your Refresher. The standard course requires 5 hours of online learning followed by the below session. For the Refresher course, come along for our morning session 9am - 1pm to be accredited for another 3 years.
