When I initially got my first tattoo ever over 10 years ago, it was a special moment with my Mum, we both got our first tattoo ever together, which was so special, as firstly we both never really liked tattoos, secondly it was so special to be getting a tattoo with my mum, and thirdly we both got them in memory of my mum’s first born Alan, my older brother and only sibling. Mum got Alan’s name with a love heart & I got the one in the picture below. I got the feather 🪶 as when feathers appear, angels are near. The infinity symbol was just something I choose instinctively, no conscious meaning or reasoning behind it…… until I stepped in fully in to my holistic healing and coaching, it now makes sense and I refer to it almost on the daily, I was always the one who wanted to give & would find it difficult to receive, to me giving brought me so much joy, now I understand, this infinity loop and symbol is the flow of giving and receiving, the loop has to be completed, by receiving I allow the giver to be open to receive, it’s a flow. Once I surrendered to that and learnt how to receive with so much gratitude, I have received so many gifts, they just keep coming on the daily, I didn’t realise how closed off I was previously, thinking that giving was being selfless, now I am aware, I am shaking my head of how unaware I was of this, and in layman’s terms it’s so simple! Giving and receiving is a flow of energy, accept with gratitude, even if it’s a simple compliment. And watch your life change.
