💙 Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Ovarian cancer is often called the “silent disease” because symptoms can be vague and easily overlooked. Knowing the signs — such as persistent bloating, abdominal or pelvic pain, feeling full quickly, or changes in appetite — can make a life-saving difference.

If symptoms are new, persistent, or worsening, it’s important to speak with your GP. Early awareness, listening to your body, and seeking medical advice are key.

This month, we stand with patients, families, and caregivers, and encourage everyone to stay informed and proactive about their health.

☀️ Regular skin checks save lives ☀️

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world. The good news? When detected early, most skin cancers are highly treatable.

Regular skin checks help identify changes you might not notice yourself — new spots, changing moles, or lesions that don’t heal. Even if you feel well, skin cancer can develop without symptoms.

If it’s been a while since your last skin check, or you’ve noticed something new or changing, now is the time to act.

📞 Book your skin check with your GP today and protect your skin for the future.

❤️ Heart health checks: why ages 45–49 matter ❤️

Heart disease often develops silently — with no warning signs. That’s why regular Heart Health Checks are so important, especially between the ages of 45 and 49.

A Heart Health Check looks at key risk factors such as blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, lifestyle, and family history to help identify your risk early and keep your heart healthy for the long term.

If you’re aged 45–49, now is the time to be proactive about your health. Early checks can prevent serious problems later on.

📞 Book your Heart Health Check with your GP today.

💗 The importance of regular Pap smears 💗

Regular Pap smears are a simple but vital way to protect your health. They help detect early changes to cervical cells before they turn into cancer — often long before any symptoms appear.

Most cervical cancers are preventable with routine screening. If you’re due (or overdue), now is the perfect time to book your appointment. Your future self will thank you 💕

📞 Call us or book online to stay up to date with your cervical screening.
