"Boxer's Knuckle"๐ฅ What is it, and what can be done about it?
Boxer's Knuckle, AKA, sagittal band ruptures, can look and feel like difficulty straightening your finger.
So, what's happening?
Basically, the structure's which stabilise tendons over the back of your knuckles and prevent them from slipping, slips away sideways when ruptured.
The good news - If the injury occurred recently, we can help with an accurate assessment and personalised treatment plan, which includes a relative motion splint, allow you to use your hand for light activities while the band heals.
