Healing requires trust.

Not blind trust in a protocol, a supplement, or someone else’s rules, but trust in your body’s ability to respond when it feels supported.

When you’re constantly questioning every symptom, second-guessing every choice, or searching for the “right” answer, the nervous system stays alert. And a body in vigilance can’t fully repair.

It’s common to feel worse when you finally slow down.

When you’ve spent months or years in push mode, the nervous system adapts to running on stress hormones. The moment you pause, those chemicals drop — and the body finally has space to feel what it’s been holding together.

Bloating isn’t always a food problem, it’s often a nervous system one.

When the body is stressed, rushed, under-recovered, or constantly alert, digestion is deprioritised. Blood flow shifts away from the gut, motility slows, enzyme output drops, and gas clearance becomes inefficient.
