We started this journey back in August 2014, and for the last 11 years, we’ve been chipping away at her tattoo — one small section at a time. Sounds crazy, right? 😅 But every treatment, no matter how small, has brought amazing results.⁠

Over the years, we’ve used 3 different lasers on her tattoo, and now the new PicoWay is clearing the last remnants of ink perfectly.⁠

The gaps between sessions were sometimes long — even up to 12 months — because she chose to take her time. Plus, with her work uniform, she couldn’t have treatments that created too much heat, so we’ve worked around her schedule perfectly.⁠

We get it — the Gold Coast sun is hard to resist. But if you’re getting laser tattoo removal, sun exposure is your skin’s worst enemy.

Here’s why:

🔥 Tanned or sunburnt skin is way more sensitive, which can lead to blistering or pigmentation changes.

🚫 The laser targets pigment — and a tan is literally pigment — so your skin can end up absorbing more heat than it should.

🕶️ It can also delay your next session because we can’t safely treat skin that’s freshly tanned.
