First things first: You don't need 20 different supplements. Start simple, start smart.
🥤 Protein 101 for Beginners:
• Whey Protein - Fast absorbing, perfect post-workout
• Casein - Slow release, great before bed
• Plant-based - Pea, h**p, or rice protein for our vegan legends
⏰ When to have it:
• Within 30-60 mins after training
• Between meals when you're short on time
• Morning smoothies to kickstart your day
🎯 How much? Aim for 0.8-1g per kg of body weight daily from ALL protein sources (food + supplements)
BUT: Whole foods first - chicken, fish, eggs, Greek yogurt, lentils. Protein powder just fills the gaps when life gets busy.
