Have you been looking after yourself?!
We often get tangled with our daily routine and forget about self care. And I can tell you, we can always squeeze in some time for us. Maybe a quick morning walk to relax the mind (without the phone), a self massage before go to bed, a stretching session on the floor of your room anytime of the day (funny as it could sound I do a little stretching while I brush my teeth and when I’m sitting beside my child’s cot shushing her to sleep), life is definitely made of simple moments. I challenge you to make a list of things you like to do, simple things like “I like writing” “I like watching inspiring TedTalks” “I like drinking my coffee feeling the sunshine on my face” “I like takings a different route to go back home from work” this goes on… the true is, we forget to do things we like doing! And when we put it into practice we feel sooooo much better.

Everyone knows that getting a Massage is very good for you. Although I would like to mention some of the benefits just to remind you all. ✨ Massage gives you a deep sense is relaxation, reducing stress levels and improving blood circulation. It also reduces muscle tension, allowing your body to have a better energy flow. After a massage you will definitely have a nice night of sleep. It’s really important to remember to keep your mind peaceful during the massage and take deep breaths in and out to relieve the tension.

It’s believed that the vibration of the words in this mantra has an impact in our thymus gland, improving the immune system. Apart from that, it brings balance to the mind, improves memory, reliefs from stress and stimulates the brain, helping with focus and learning.

While chanting it we are invoking light, asking for connection with the divine consciousness, asking for the creator of the universe to illuminate our intellect.

This is a very powerful mantra,

So... What is Ayurveda?

Ayur means Life and Veda means Knowledge. The literal meaning being, Knowledge Of Life.

Ayurveda is known over the last 5,000 years as the “way of life” practiced throughout India. That is why some people say that Ayurveda is “the medicine from India” but actually it goes way beyond that.

Ayurveda teach us how to prevent, heal and maintain health.Always looking for the root of the problem, pain, discomfort or disease.

Finding the best way to balance the Body, Mind, Soul and Emotions. Ayurveda shows us how everything is totally connected, there’s no headache or backache that is not connected with Mind and Emotions for example.

When things became physical is the Body showing us that something needs attention. Learning that taking a pill for the pain won’t get rid of the cause, the pain will be back soon or later.

This balance can be reached following what we call “The 3 Pillars of Ayu”
(I will talk about this more deeply later).

The first step is focusing on Diet and Nutrition, then Lifestyle followed by Therapies, Herbs and Detoxing.

Ayurveda also teach us that we must take responsibility for our life, health, emotions, speech, actions, etc.
