Today it is 1 year since we said our earthly goodbye to my darling Zea. It is a bittersweet day – a day full of beautiful and precious memories and so much gratitude to God for all Zea and I shared together through 5 decades. Gratitude to Zea for enriching my life in so many ways with her love, compassion, understanding, forgiveness, patience and gentle teaching. Yes I experience a close personal loneliness at times but this is soon overwhelmed by the gratitude I am blessed with; and the peace (and deep-seated spiritual joy) of God that passes human understanding.
Today I also am specially blessed to have Steve, Som and Lloydie (Samson) here with me for the past weeks and just a few more days.
I thank all of you for the support and love you have shared over the last 18 months.
Zea, until we meet again I will miss you every day. Even as my life goes on, it goes on influenced by you and all the qualities you so generously shared with me and with others.
Thank you, and thank you God for your Grace and Mercy.
