Do I need a referral to see a Hand Therapist in Queensland? 🤔

You DO NOT need a referral to see a Hand Therapist at Evergreen Hand Therapy if you:

📌 Book an appointment as a private client - either with or without private health cover for extra's (physiotherapy)

You DO need a referral if you are:

📌 Funded under DVA (Department of Veteran’s Affairs)
📌 Booking Hand Therapy as part of a GP CARE PLAN from your Doctor
📌 Claiming through an independent insurance body other than your private health (e.g. WORKCOVER or other third party insurers)

Here's a couple of examples of how we've helped our clients to regain movement in a stiff finger joint after an injury. Removable splints are a simple yet effective method to improve flexibility. By providing gentle, sustained pressure, custom-made splints or elasticised straps can help restore the normal bending and straightening of your finger.
