Australia and New Zealand At the Centre of Movement our purpose is to open up a child’s world through movement.

Movement is the language of brain development. Providing it with the information and conditions to thrive. We want our community to have access to the modalities and equipment that are gold standard in accelerated learning. Our mission is to provide the conditions necessary for each child to have the best start in life and realise their full potential and beyond. We offer: Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, The Tomatis Method, The Feldenkrais Method, TheraSuit Intensives, Personalised Intensives, School-Ready Intensives.

Thank you to everyone who came and made our Christchurch Grand Opening so special on Friday. We have photos to come as no one in our immediate circle got any shots of the night. This was the quick walk through I got while we were waiting on Nicole and Sam to arrive from Rotorua. The whole Rotorua team came down to help us celebrate. I promise photos and speeches to come. But look at the turnout, New Zealand this has been a long time coming and we are so thankful for all of your support. More to come. ....

We’re excited to bring the next chapter to Christchurch! 💚 Families in New Zealand now have a Centre in both the North and South Island.

Our Christchurch staff have been training alongside our team in Australia, who have years of experience delivering the intensive model. Therapies that families once had to travel all the way to Burleigh to access will now be available right here in Christchurch.

Thank you to Emmy, Tessa, Biffie and your families for bringing awareness as well as your love and support.

Our pop-up intensive therapy clinic is confirmed for January and we couldn’t be more excited. 💚

We can’t wait to meet new families, reconnect with our community, and bring our team to beautiful Tasmania. Our staff are just as thrilled to explore everything your state has to offer while supporting kids to reach their goals.

See you soon, Tassie! 🌿

New App for Early Cerebral Palsy Screening
Change is coming

Researchers at the University of Melbourne have developed a groundbreaking app that makes early screening more accessible. Parents can now record their baby’s movements at home and securely share them with clinicians for review.

Already used by over 10,000 families across 20 international studies, this app is paving the way for earlier diagnosis and life-changing intervention.

Representing today .s_apparel

Today is International Angelman Day

Angelman Syndrome (AS) is a rare neurogenetic disorder caused by a deletion or mutation of the UBE3A gene on chromosome 15. This gene plays a crucial role in brain development, and its dysfunction leads to challenges with movement, balance, communication, and intellectual development.

However there is often a unique behavioral profile with Angelman Syndrome and it’s a friendly and happy trait expressed through frequent laughter, excitability, and a strong social connection.

Today, we raise awareness, celebrate the strength of individuals with Angelman Syndrome, and advocate for continued research and support. I’ll be sharing a highlight reel later with some of our superstars!
