This is achieved by creating and developing individualised client-tailored therapy interventions and assessments. We work together with you to understand who you are, what your values and beliefs are and ultimately what motivates you. We love diving into what drives you to succeed and thrive within your day to day tasks. With a keen focus on how your impairments, disabilities, and overall health experiences impacts you mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our goal is to improve your independence and safety with your daily living skills so you can achieve a higher level of self-awareness and integration within yourself, your environments, and daily occupations (the things we love, want and need to engage in daily life). Throughout therapy we will assist you to grow and reflect on improvements in your overall quality of life, health and wellbeing and increased engagement and participation in your meaningful activities. We will collaboratively work with you in conjunction with your family and other health professionals as needed to maximise your health and independence. Meet our team 🤍 Hi, I’m Kirstin
I’m passionate about growing and healing through creativity, play, and connection with nature. I love bringing these elements into my work, whether that’s creating, cooking, exploring outdoors, or simply slowing things down and meeting each child where they’re at.

I feel incredibly grateful to support kids as they work through challenges, build confidence, and learn new skills in a way that feels fun, relaxed, and genuinely them. I believe growth happens best in safe, down-to-earth environments where curiosity, laughter, and trust lead the way.

Every day is an opportunity to learn together, celebrate progress (big and small), and create meaningful moments through connection.

We’re excited to share that we currently have capacity to welcome new clients across the Gold Coast and Northern Gold Coast regions.

Our Occupational Therapist, Bonnie, is available for OT. If you’ve been looking for OT support for yourself, child or young person, now is a great time to reach out — spots will fill quickly!

We offer mobile services in-home, at school, kindy, daycare, or out in the community, making therapy easier to fit into everyday routines.

One of our amazing clients recently set a goal to learn how to meal prep, supporting healthier routines and greater independence in daily life.

Through our OT sessions, we’ve broken this goal down step-by-step:
🥕 Planning out simple, enjoyable meals
📝 Writing ingredient lists
🍳 Cooking together in sessions
💪 Building confidence in the kitchen

Creations include sweet potato bites, teriyaki chicken, and creamy chicken pasta all made (and enjoyed!) with pride.

At Motivation, we believe meal preparation is more than cooking, it’s about building life skills, confidence, and independence that carry through home and beyond. 💙
