Excited to share my new course! Combining my passions as a trauma informed yoga teacher and provisional psychologist ~ this course is an opportunity for people to connect their mind and body through evidence based practices in a safe environment!

A 6 week course that combines evidence based trauma yoga with tailored group "therapy". A safe environment in which everything is a choice!

It's truly starting to feel like Autumn now & as I learn more about going with flow I realise that means flowing with nature too...I used to buy into that whole "summer bodies are made in winter" but now I respect the seasons & let them be my guide
Autumn is all about letting go & embracing change
In the Yin practice it's also about balancing the emotions of courage & sadness
Courage to let go, to commit to creating change & courage to feel the sadness that can arise as we release & create space πŸ‚

Patajanli defines yoga as "the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind"
So as much as yoga can feel like a "workout" for your body developing your physical health its also sooo much more - our bodies are the pathway to our minds (& vice versa!)
I feel like once I realised I wasn't just doing downward dog to tone my arms my life & my inner craziness got a whole better πŸ™ƒπŸ§˜β€β™€οΈβœŒ

~ Good things take time ~
This has been my mantra for the past 2 years...especially last year πŸ€ͺ! I sometimes get caught up in the idea that if your dream/goal is meant to be or you're on the right path then things will happen with ease...well sure sometimes it can but sometimes following your path/dream/goal requires a looottt of patience, consistent, conscious effort (aka perserverance) & a little acceptance & surrender to balance it out!
It felt like our move to GC was never gonna happen but now we're celebrating 2 weeks living here yipppeee (always celebrate the small stuff) & it was sooooo worth the wait!!! Good things take time ✌
