Loving the GC life so far and I’ve been very lazy with my Instagram. Turns out that moving and turning your life on its head is overwhelmingly hard work 😂

After spending 4 months in the beautiful hinterland we have got our own place in central Gold Coast. Pinching myself that we can get to all the beautiful beaches within 20-30 minutes! And we are 25 minutes from Tamborine Mountain - one of my favorite places.

So far I’ve not done much business rebuilding, more just taking some time to myself and relaxing. I’ve never really had the space or opportunity to focus on myself for an extended period before, and it’s proven very valuable for my health and wellbeing.

I’m super looking forward to 2026, I’ll be putting my energy into a new biz model and I’m just really loving the gym atm! More on life later. 💜

I have news… last week was my last week as a PT in Canberra 🥲

I have been so blessed with the most amazing clients over the years, with some of them seeing me every week for the past 16/17 years! In fact, it’s my clients that became my biggest road block to leaving, because I love working with them so much.

I recall in my 20’s as I took the not-so-common path to becoming a business owner, that I never wanted to dread Mondays, and that I have never done. I love my work days just as much as my days off and I have my amazing clients to thank for that.

I have been dreaming about leaving for many years, but it’s not until now that the urge to leave and start anew has become greater than my desire to stay.

I’m continuing on with the business (never leaving that) but it will take a different form over the coming months as I settle in up North.

I also have exciting news! That I have the most amazing PT, Emily, who has been training with me for such a long time! She will train some of my clients and work with me under Wildly Strong (I will share more on Emily in a separate post next week, as it would be impossible to limit this amazing woman to a paragraph here).

So this post is just to say a quick thanks to everyone who has trained with me or engaged in my services on a face-to-face level over the years. You all made my life so bright and I will be forever grateful!

I’ll be in Canberra this weekend to get my property ready for tenants, and say some in person goodbyes. After that you’ll find me online in all the usual places!

Physically, I’ll be in the Gold Coast hinterland, living amongst the trees where it’s quiet and peaceful and the beach is just a short drive away 💜

Food insecurity, whether due to economic, physical, social, or political forces, is a powerful psychosocial stressor linked to virtually every mental health and neurodegenerative condition in the book. Thus food SECURITY has a positive impact on mental wellbeing.

In this article I’ll touch on some of the stressors my clients and I have experienced lately when it comes to healthy food, and share with you some alternatives, if you want to continue (or start) eating a nutritious diet for health and wellbeing.
